Mewar University Admission 2025: CUET, Process, Eligibility & Dates

Mewar University offers decent placements for its various courses like MBA, BTech, BCA and MCA, etc. In 2023, the participating recruiters placed 574 students of the University so far in various sectors. The total strength of the eligible students for the placements stood at 985. Further, 116 recruiters participated so far in the placement process 2023.

Mewar University offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and other courses to students. These courses are provided across the Pharmacy, Computer Application, and various other streams. At the undergraduate level, the university offers a three-year BCA, four-year BPharma, three to four-year BSc, and other courses to students. At the postgraduate level, the university offers a two-year full-time M.Tech and other programmes to students.

The application fee for BCom at Mewar University is aroud INR 1,000. Candidates must pay the application fee to register on the official website of Mewar University. Candidates must also pay an provisional admission fee of INR 5,000 along with application fee. Applicants can pay online through Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Net Banking.

Mewar University offers BSc course at undergraduate-level. However, the BSc course is a honors degree course lasting for four years. The course is offered across mutliple specialisations such as Aircraft Zoology, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, Physics (Hons), Biotechnology (Hons), Statistics, and many more. Admission to the BSc course is based on the national-level exam CUET UG. 

The fees for B.Tech Mechanical Engineering at Mewar University is 1.70 Lakhs per annum. The Student's Registration Fees:  5,000 Per Year (INR). 

The hostel fee is 1.10 Lacs per annum. So if we calculate whole along with hostel then it will be nearly 2.8 lakhs.

•  75% tuition fee exemption to a student (1st topper) Securing more then 90% Marks in 10+2
• Students securing 85% and above in (10+2) are exempted from paying 25% of their tuition fee.
• General Students Whose parents are economically weaker and having income less than 1 lac per year and having 75% or more marks are eligible for 50% scholarship in tuition fees.

Mewar University BSc exam icludes the CUET UG entrance exam fees. The CUET exam fee is as follows: 

• INR 750 (General)
• INR 700 (OBC-NCL, EWS)
• INR 650 (SC, ST, PwD and Transgender)
• INR 3,750 (International centres)

Mewar University M.Tech ccourse is merit based. However, the university does accepts CUET PG score. Candidates must have a valid qualification as well to be eligible for the course. The M.Tech qualification requires a Bachelor's degree in BTech/ BE/ MSc with at least 45% aggregate or equivalent grades or PG degree in relevant discipline. 

Mewar University does not offer direct admission to UG programme. Admission to all the UG courses, such as BA, are based on valid score in the Mewar University Entrance Exam (MUEE) or national-level exam Common University Entrance Test (CUET). Candidates are required apply for the entrance exam and participate in the counselling porcess for seat allocation. However, candidates must make sure to qualify the BA eligibility criteria. 

Eligibility Criteria: Class 12 in any discipline with a 45%-50% aggregate or equivalent grades from a recognised board.

Mewar University accepts multiple entrance exams for its BTech course as admission to the course is subject to a valid score in the entrance exams. The university accepst entrance exams such as:

Mewar University offers BBA course at undergraduate-level. However, the BBA course is a honors degree course lasting for three years.  The full form of BBA is Bachelor of Business Administration. Courses provide extensive knowledge related to management and leadership skills. Students willing to make a career in business and management choose the BBA course. Admission to the BBA course is merit based. 

Mewar University M.Tech admission is subject to a valid score in the last qualifying exam and entrance exam scores. Candidates who has a bachelor's degree in BTech/ BE/ MSc with at least 45% aggregate or equivalent grades or PG degree in relevant discipline are eligible to apply for the M.Tech programme.

Mewar University follows the reservation policy prescribed by the State Government of Rajasthan as well the Government of India. The seats are reserved for the special categories: Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), and More Backward Classes (MBC).
