Mewar University awards various scholarship schemes to students. The university provides scholarships to various deserving and meritorious students enrolled in UG programmes. The criteria of entitlement for scholarships is as follows:
- University Scholarships
Under this scholarship scheme, students securing 90% and above marks in Class 12 are exempted from paying 75% of their tuition fee
- Government of India Scholarships
The Scholarship Schemes of Central and State governments for ST/ SC/ OBC / Minority/ J&K/ Northeast students are applicable for this type of scholarship as per the criteria fixed by the respective governments. If a student is already receiving an incentive or scholarship from the Government and Other sources of sponsored schemes such as scholarship for SC/ ST/ OBC/ Minority / J&K / AICTE/ and others, he/she shall not be eligible for the Mewar University meritorious scholarship or even incentive.
- Meritorious student Scholarships
Under this scholarship scheme, students with 85% and above marks in Class 12 are exempted from paying 25% of their tuition fee
- Special Scholarship for Economically Weaker Students
Under this scholarship scheme, General students whose parents are economically weaker and have income less than INR 1 LPA, and have 75% or more marks are eligible for a 50% scholarship in tuition fees.
- Extra-curricular Excellence Scholarships
Under this scholarship scheme, one student from each department is adjudged for excellence in extra-curricular activities such as oratory, sports, presentation, and cultural activity, and others are reimbursed 50% of the tuition fee
