Candidates seeking admission in BSc, BVoc, MSc, Diploma and value-added courses are selected based on their qualifying exam scores. MMU Solan offers admission to candidates based on their merit or entrance exam scores. The university conducts entrance tests for admission to PhD, BSc Nursing and GNM programmes. MMU also accepts NEET and NEET PG scores for admission to MBBS and MD/ MS courses, respectively. For all other courses, selection is based on qualifying exam scores of the candidates. Further, the university releases a merit list to announce the names of the selected aspirants. Once the seat is allotted to candidates, they need to confirm the same by paying the course fee.
The requirement for NEET depends on the course applied by the candidates. MMU Solan considers NEET-UG scores for admission to MBBS programme whereas, NEET-PG scores is required for MD and MS courses. Aspirants with a valid NEET score need to participate in centralised counselling conducted by the Government of Himachal Pradesh. Those who are allotted seat need to pay the course fee.
MMU Solan offers seats to candidates in MSc programme based on their merit in the last qualifying exam. Aspirants should have passed graduation to apply for preferred MSc specialisations.
