Candidates who have completed Class 12 are eligible to apply for MMU Solan UG courses. The university offers BSc, BVoc, MBBS, BSc Nursing, etc. at the UG level. The aggregate requirement for most of the UG programmes is 50%. There is a relaxation of 5% in aggregate for SC/ ST candidates for some of the courses. Candidates also need to appear for entrance test for admission to a few UG programmes.

MBBS is the most popular programme at Maharishi Markandeshwar University (MMU) in Solan, Himachal Pradesh. The 66-month course is a full-time, five-year programme on campus. The total tuition fee is INR 76.50 Lakh.

MMU Solan offers admission to candidates based on their merit or entrance exam scores. The university conducts entrance tests for admission to PhD, BSc Nursing and GNM programmes. MMU also accepts NEET and NEET PG scores for admission to MBBS and MD/ MS courses, respectively. For all other courses, selection is based on qualifying exam scores of the candidates. Further, the university releases a merit list to announce the names of the selected aspirants. Once the seat is allotted to candidates, they need to confirm the same by paying the course fee.

Maharishi Markandeshwar University (MMU) Solan offers a B.Tech programme in six specializations with a total seat intake of 290. Admissions are based on JEE Main score, and the university may also consider 12th board marks and reservation category.
