MNNIT Allahabad Residential and Hostel Facilities

There are seven Boys and two Girls' hostels at present in the Institute. The capacity of the boys' hostel is 1800 (1044 single-seated rooms and 252 triple-seated rooms ), and that of the girls' hostel is 145. Room allotment is done in such a way that students from different parts of the country freely intermingle with each other, depicting national integration. Hostel messes are run on a non-profit and non-loss basis. The messes are managed by nominated representatives of students under the overall supervision of wardens. The foreign students run their separate mess, known as the international mess. In this mess, non-vegetarian food is also served.

The newly admitted boys are kept in separate hostels away from senior students to avoid ragging. The hostel administration grants financial assistance to meet the mess bills to many needy students. One new hostel has also been constructed to accommodate an additional number of students. Several new facilities are being provided in the girls' hostel, viz., washing machines, refrigerators, computers, and internet connectivity. One PCO booth is also working in the girls' hostel campus.

There is a team of wardens in charge and a warden for each of the hostels. They look after the affairs of the room allocation to the individual students and issue the 'Concession Forms' for the students going home during the Institute vacations. All the student complaints regarding the room maintenance are routed through the warden of the hostel to the concerned authorities.

MNNIT is a great Institute, by a MNNITian.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. We have good drinking water, clean and sanitized washrooms, and well-maintained single rooms. I will say the infrastructure is great. Although the classes also have centralized ACs installed this year, the Wi-Fi connection is also good. We are provided with routers as well as a LAN. The library is also good, has a lot of books, and provides an e-book facility as well.

Good placement in 2023, ragging-free, and mess food is good.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available on the college campus. Classrooms are quite good. AC does not work properly. The condition of lab is not that good. All the machine equipment is old. The hostel facilities are good. Water cooler is provided. The quality of food in the mess is good.

Average infrastructure, good placements, monotonous college life.

Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi is fast and available 24*7. The classrooms have AC, but only a few of them work. There are smart boards in the classrooms. The library is quite small, and during exam time, we have to study in our room because the library gets full. The mess food is average. There are no single rooms for girls. Boys get their single room in the third year. However, the washrooms and rooms are cleaned regularly. The college does not support or sponsor any games or cultural events. If we want to particip...

It is a decent government college.

Infrastructure: I live in the first-year girls' hostel, and the infrastructure is really good. It has a common hall where a lot of games are there, like table tennis, a badminton court, etc. The mess food is decent. There is also a gymnasium for girls. I haven't gone there, but I have heard it is pretty nice.

It is a great college, but poor infrastructure and campus distribution.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is pretty average. The classrooms are also pretty congested, with no proper working ACs. The medical facilities are good, as we have a dispensary. The food is also good, especially for students from the native state. The hostel is average, with first year students having a 4 sharing room, 2nd year students having two sharing rooms, and 3rd and 4th year students having single sharing rooms, providing better privacy.

Review of the College Suryabhan Singh

Infrastructure: All the facilities are available for students present in this course. Classrooms, libraries, as well as Wi-Fi, are available in this college. The quality of the canteen is very bad; the food is not good but has taste. Medical is present. Sports and games are available.

My honest review about my college.

Infrastructure: I have spent more than 10 years in the hostel during my study period. Hostel facility is average, not good, in some places is below average and in other places is above average. The main difference is that nothing else. Food facility depends on the fee. It is the toughest course I ever attended or heard of someone. Every mark earned there in 3 years is hard-earned, a lot to learn. Professors set very high benchmarks for students. Industry-level assignments are done in the course curriculum. Prof...

Overall, it's a well-organised college.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, and classrooms are good. Classrooms have fully fitted fans. There is no any kind of air-conditioned but the ventilation in classrooms is good. The canteen is air-conditioned with a proper sitting area and a wider choice of food items. No any kind of sports and games are provided by the college authority.

Description of MNNIT Allahabad.

Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi service is available on the whole campus. The library hours are from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM which gets extended to midnight during exams. The campus size is big you have buildings for different departments and also 2 cafes and few canteens and shops are present from which you could get all stationaries and needed items. Hostels are also big and with above above-average mess service. The dispensary is there for medical issues with Apollo Medical Store. 1 athletic ground, 1 basketball cour...

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good enough. Classrooms are clean with projector in them and with many fans even some classrooms have AC also. In some special classroom, there are smart boards also. Wi-Fi connection is also good enough. Library is very well-organised with electronics with lots of academic and non-academic books.

Placements are good, but the hostels need improvement. College life and the fest are good.

Infrastructure: The hostel for first-year girls is very nice, with lifts, a good mess, and 3-seater rooms with a study room. The hostel for other years is not very nice, with small rooms, no lift, and 2-seater. The mess is okay. The infrastructure of the college is fine, but most of the classes are old and do not have ACs.

Best time of life to grow, enjoy, and for memories.

Infrastructure: MNNIT is quite old, so from infrastructure wise it is not good. Its ranking is below due to only infrastructure. But here labs are in good condition. They have all the necessary equipments to learn. Classes have AC and garden and lush green campus. We have a dispensary and auto facility in MNNIT.

MNIT Allahabad is highly rated for placement purposes, and that is true.

Infrastructure: The facilities in our branch are moderate. The quality of food is very good, but the sports facilities and hostel facilities are not so good, but adjustable. The mess feels costly, but it is refundable according to food usage. There are enough canteens in the college, and one can easily select which canteen to choose. The first-year hostel is very good, but the second and third-year hostels are somewhat small.
