MNNIT Allahabad Residential and Hostel Facilities

There are seven Boys and two Girls' hostels at present in the Institute. The capacity of the boys' hostel is 1800 (1044 single-seated rooms and 252 triple-seated rooms ), and that of the girls' hostel is 145. Room allotment is done in such a way that students from different parts of the country freely intermingle with each other, depicting national integration. Hostel messes are run on a non-profit and non-loss basis. The messes are managed by nominated representatives of students under the overall supervision of wardens. The foreign students run their separate mess, known as the international mess. In this mess, non-vegetarian food is also served.

The newly admitted boys are kept in separate hostels away from senior students to avoid ragging. The hostel administration grants financial assistance to meet the mess bills to many needy students. One new hostel has also been constructed to accommodate an additional number of students. Several new facilities are being provided in the girls' hostel, viz., washing machines, refrigerators, computers, and internet connectivity. One PCO booth is also working in the girls' hostel campus.

There is a team of wardens in charge and a warden for each of the hostels. They look after the affairs of the room allocation to the individual students and issue the 'Concession Forms' for the students going home during the Institute vacations. All the student complaints regarding the room maintenance are routed through the warden of the hostel to the concerned authorities.

College is fine, placements are good. Campus life is decent.

Infrastructure: The library is fine. It has a lot of books and online resources. The hostel for first years is also good. Don't believe people who want to be relatable. Hostel food and facilities are quite nice, the food is fine, and there are three food outlets on campus. The mess is pure veg, so it's a good option for those who don't want non-veg. Medical facilities are also good. There is an on-campus ambulance, and they also take us to hospitals outside, even at night, and medicines are free from the dispen...

Dissatisfied with the infrastructure, the faculty is good, but 75% attendance is mandatory.

Infrastructure: Decent infrastructure of classrooms and labs, including a good LAN connection in labs. Well-maintained library with over a thousand books for the course and other interests. The hostel for the first year is decent, LAN connections are available in all rooms. Only the vegetarian mess is present in the hostel, providing decent food. One canteen is in the hostel which is open late at night, and one stationery shop is also in the hostel.

Best placements. Average infrastructure. Average sports facilities.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite average if I compare this college to other colleges like NIT Jaipur. 1st year and 4th year hostels are good, but 2nd and 3rd year hostels have small rooms. Mess food is average. The internet connection is not good enough to play games unless you have 5G.

Good placements. Good coding culture. Enough facilities to grant you a good college life.

Infrastructure: Almost all the classes are AC equipped. The library is of considerable size. College Wi-Fi gives about average speed. Lunch and dinner are just average, but breakfast is good. The canteen contains all the essential items. The college has many clubs for sports. Overall, 1st-year hostels are good, but 2nd- and 3rd-year hostels are not up to the mark.

College is decent. Placement-wise, very good, but campus life is not so good.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college, Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, is, I say at weaker side, campus is not a big building, the classes are very old and boring, and the hostel facility is not good. First and last year hostels are good, but the second or third are very bad.

It's good. At the start, it could be humbling.

Infrastructure: CSE labs are good, though in our labs, many equipments does not work. 4-5 people's group perform a single experiment, it's miserable, even classrooms of the core department other than electrical have some miserable classrooms, sometimes rain water pour through their ceilings.

Overall, college is good in placement, faculty, course structure, and strict in rules.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good but not that much decent like other NITs, all the facilities are available like Wi-Fi, LAN, classrooms, and library which are fine but 2nd and 3rd year. Hostels are not that good but the facilities in hostels are fine. Mess food is also good, fully vegetarian, only eggs are available in the canteen. Medical facilities are also fine, an ambulance is available 24 hours, and the college dispensary is open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. There are so many sports and club societies in...

The college is good in terms of software placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very old, and the campus area is small. Most of the campus area is allotted to faculty and girls where boys are not allowed so campus infrastructure is poor, and the maintenance hostel is average but the mess is below average. Labs and classrooms are old-fashioned.

Brilliant placement college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is poor and dull with a very small campus. Very small for boys half of what it is, old buildings. The library is good, Wi-Fi is available in academic buildings, labs are well connected with the network, and proper enabled PC. Mess food is bad, canteen is good, and it offers a variety of food. Sports facilities are good.

Inside details of MNNIT Allahabad.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is decent, not very Hi-Fi and not very bad as well. The hostel for first-year and final-year boys are the best. The grounds are good, 2 badminton courts in the first year boys hostel (SVBH), and a table tennis room on every floor. The mess food is not very good. You have to manage. LAN connections are provided in each room so no problem. Classrooms are also good.

Satisfied because of the placement only of the MNNIT brand only.

Infrastructure: Poor facilities and not-so-good infrastructure. Wi-Fi is available in the library, the computer centre is fully centralized, and classrooms are currently under construction. The facilities are not so good, the mess food is average, and the canteen is not so well in the hostels. College medical facilities are also poor, with limited sports and games.

Infrastructure: Classrooms have decent facilities with some of them being air-conditioned. The library has a wide variety of books and good Wi-Fi, the hostel rooms and mess are usually clean and the food is usually alright. Sports and games facilities are alright. The canteen has a good variety of foods.
