MNNIT Allahabad is one of the leading engineering institutes, not only in India but across the globe. The institute has been ranked among the top 10 to 15 NITs in India consistently. The institute has several departments that offer engineering courses. Most of the faculty members have completed their PhDs from reputed organisations.

MNNIT Allahabad CSE Faculty

MNNIT was the first to start the Computer Science and Engineering program in the country, with a strength of 10 students. Initially, the CSE department was started under the Electrical Engineering department, which, over the years, was established as a separate department. The department, with its evolution and growth, has succeeded in creating its place of excellence not only within the institute but also among its peer institutions in the country and abroad.

One of the missions of the department is to have high-quality faculty and staff with appropriate know-how and degrees, with a commitment to remain professionally advanced through ongoing research and professional development programs. The institute also makes sure to attract and retain a diverse and multicultural population of students, faculty and staff.

College is fine, placements are good. Campus life is decent.

Faculty: Some teachers are more like professionals, but some have a genuine interest. You just have to pay attention, and they will solve your doubts. The course curriculum for CSE is relevant, as they start teaching AI, ML, and C in the first semester. Exams are fine. It's mostly dependent on who's making the paper.

Dissatisfied with the infrastructure, the faculty is good, but 75% attendance is mandatory.

Faculty: Teachers in the CSE department are highly qualified and experienced. Most hold a Ph.D. degree from a reputed institute with strong academic credentials. They are helpful and approachable if you are interested in learning. The teaching is good on the theoretical side and decent on the practical side also. Assignments and projects are heavy.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.

Faculty: Most of the faculty members have completed their graduation from NITs. They have a lot of knowledge to share with students. They use both languages, Hindi and English, to interact with their students. Semester exams are a little difficult, but you can pass easily.

Best placements. Average infrastructure. Average sports facilities.

Faculty: All the professors are from IITs. They have a deep knowledge of their subject. Although some lab assistants might be rude to you. This college has produced several GATE AIR 1 in the past few years. It's difficult to provide an overall view of semester exams since it depends on the subject and professor.

The college has good placement, good infrastructure, and facilities.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. Most of them are graduates from IITs and NITs. The course of this college is enough to make any student ready for the industry. Semester exams are not too tough but not easy also. You should start preparation at least one month in advance to get a good score.

Good placements. Good coding culture. Enough facilities to grant you a good college life.

Faculty: Teachers are more than qualified, but some of them are old. About 65 percent of the syllabus is related to my field, which would help us to get placements. Labs are available for developing our skills. Semester exams are not that tough, you just have to devote 2 hours per day for semester exams.

College is decent. Placement-wise, very good, but campus life is not so good.

Faculty: The faculty is not good, you have to make an effort on your own, do not rely on the professor. The curriculum is very strict, too many classes, especially in ECE, and my branch of electrical engineering and exam is also hectic, too many subjects, way too many random extra subjects.

It's good. At the start, it could be humbling.

Faculty: The course is good. Sem exams are not that difficult if you study daily (which is quite hard if you're someone like me), but if you put a little bit efforts consistently, it's not that tough. Some teachers are quite strict in grading, but not all of them. Others are good.

Overall, college is good in placement, faculty, course structure, and strict in rules.

Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is very fine. The course curriculum is relevant to the field and it makes students industry-ready. The difficulty level of semester exams in the college is moderate to tough. If you study, then you can pass otherwise you have to face the back exam.

The college is good in terms of software placements.

Faculty: The curriculum is mostly old, and in 1st year, the fees are irrelevant. The course is not very tough but the grading of the course mainly depends on the professor. If the professor is lenient, they may give you better grades on the exam paper, as long as it is not very tough, they are up to the mark.

Brilliant placement college.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good but still few professors don't give quality teaching. The curriculum is relevant and includes practical knowledge. Semesters are easy to pass with regular study. Need to score more than 33 to pass.

Inside details of MNNIT Allahabad.

Faculty: Professors here are highly qualified and are very good in nature, there are some exceptions. They take the course curriculum very seriously. The curriculum is very relevant to the industry. The exam time is the most difficult time for the students. The exams are as per the curriculum and the seniors provide proper guidance for the exams with pyqs and all.

Satisfied because of the placement only of the MNNIT brand only.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable but not too qualified. Teaching quality is good. Mass Bunk is very common. The course curriculum is not relevant, not up to date. It makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are very easy. You can learn from previous year papers and go to the exam. The pass percentage is approximately 80 percent.
