MLSU admission process differs based on the course, candidate applying for. Admission to UG courses at MLSU is based on aggregate score obtained in the qualifying exam followed by the counselling. BTech and BArch admissions at MLSU are based on rank secured in the JEE Main and NATA entrance examinations, respectively. The final selection for BTech and BArch is done though REAP counselling.

MLSU eligibility criteria differs course to course. For BTech and BArch admission at MLSU, candidates must have passed Class 12 in PCM with at least 45% aggregate.
