The University of Kota is accredited with a 'B' Grade by NAAC. Kota University was established in 2003 by the Government of Rajasthan and is approved by UGC. Kota University, through six faculties, over 15 departments, 6 Shodhpeeth, and 190+ affiliated colleges, offers UG, PG, PG Diploma, and Certificate courses to students across the Social Science, Law, Commerce & Management, Science and Education streams.

Apart from hostels, library, and sports, UOK infrastructure includes a university canteen, shuttle service, computer labs, and a separate cell for the differently-abled students.
