Our college ranks 5th in the state.
Placements: Most students who have good CGPA and skills generally get placements from the college in the 4th year only. The training and placement cell offers internships and also trains students for the interview and helps them. The average placement is approximately 5 LPA-6 LPA.
Infrastructure: As it is a government college, there are still smart classrooms, the labs have every piece of equipment, and there is Wi-Fi on the campus as well. The government hotel is not very great but for such a small fee it's great. The campus of the college is very great.
Faculty: The teachers mostly have post-graduation in their respective subjects. They are very knowledgeable and kind. They are also interested in helping the students and solving their doubts. As for the exams they are quite difficult but if you study properly you can easily get a good score.

Integrated B.Sc. + M.Sc. in Cell and Molecular Biology - Batch of 2026

It has a good curriculum. It covers almost everything in life science.
Placements: Around 20-30 percent of students got placed as of now. 2 pharmaceutical companies came for placements. Other than that, people are mainly focused on pursuing a PhD, hence looking for their institutions.
Infrastructure: Personal canteen for CMB is not available. It has other amenities like Wi-Fi and labs (there are 4-5 labs, and all are in good condition). It has AC classrooms and labs as well. The library is available with all the related reference books. I have no idea about hostels, as there are very few hostels at CMB.
Faculty: I think faculty members are the best thing about CMB. The course curriculum consists of almost everything from physics to mathematics, chemistry, statistics, and all fields of life science as well, like immunology, cell biology, metabolism, stem cell, disease and disorders, plant tissue culture, proteomics, etc. Faculty members' guidance is at the top, and they have helped everyone with their dissertations and cleared everyone's queries about labs.
Other: There is a problem with events or campus life. I think that might be due to a small batch, but I would encourage students to be active and improve campus life.

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com. Hons.) - Batch of 2024

Good faculty, bad facilities.
Placements: Banking Manager, Marketing Associate, banking companies like Axis and HDFC came. The highest gross salary for a month offered was around Rs. 23,000, while the lowest or average would be Rs. 20,000. Overall, the campus placement provided was good. I went into the CMA sector, so I still know little of it.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided were okayish. Water supply was a bit scarce; we had to go to the next building of M.Com to fill in our bottles if the staff didn't get it sooner. The exams taken were not strict enough, just like in any other B.Com. I'd say that this was better B.Com Honours than many other colleges you would go into.
Faculty: The exams taken were not strict enough, just like in any other B.Com. I'd say that this was better B.Com Honours than many other colleges you would go into. Teachers are respected, and they were fun too. A few faculty members were too stereotypical and weird.
Other: Hostels are bad. Events and all were great.

It is extremely good for students who are free-minded. There is no bullying.
Placements: The level of placement is moderate. In this government college, we have to find internships by ourselves, as it does not offer any paid internships. Placements are okay. 70 percent of students get placements, and others just go and prepare for master's.
Infrastructure: It is a government college, but believe me, facilities are insane. It has a center AC. Classrooms have smart boards and have a good environment. We have our own app for attendance. The attendance only fills if we apply via the college app, or else we do not get a present mark.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, but teachers who are from outside of my department are not okay. They treat us badly. Teachers of our BBA department are so helpful in every way. They are the best. They teach us as if we were still in school. They write everything on the blackboard so that we can understand quickly.

M.Sc. in Applied Chemistry - Batch of 2027

A Best college to study.
Placements: Each year more than 60% students get directly placed from campus placement, and the rest also get their job with the help of placement cell and the department. The placement cell is getting wider day by day. The role of placement cell is very crucial and good for the students of M.Sc. Applied Chemistry. Also, this placement cell not only works for one department; in MS University, there are respective placement cells in each faculty, so no need to worry just maintain a good academic record and the rest will be good.
Infrastructure: Awesome building and facilities at laboratory and library. Overall, a good building and a good environment. Free Wi-Fi placement for all students with secure privacy and proxy network. Everyone has their unique username and password for Wi-Fi login. The parking facility in the faculty is also good.
Faculty: A best faculty overall. The teachers are helpful and always eager to get the best from students, providing sufficient knowledge in terms of extra knowledge. The level of exams is a little bit harder because they want to use your full potential. The coordinator and teachers are always helpful for every student.
Other: A best institute and a best faculty I have ever studied in. I had completed my B.Sc. from MS University as well, but my experience in M.Sc. Applied Chemistry is much better than B.Sc.

Law at MSU, academics, and after hours.
Placements: Placements at Faculty of Law, MSU, aren't very strong overall, but good opportunities can be secured if you've consistently worked on building your CV through internships and extracurricular activities. Many students opt for litigation by working under advocates though breaking into this field often requires strong professional connections. Recently, one of my seniors secured a placement with a package of around 4 LPA which is encouraging. Still, most students prefer preparing for government exams like judiciary or UPSC after completing their degree.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is poorly planned. During heavy rains, water often collects around campus, making it difficult to move around and affecting overall experience. Wi-Fi is available at hostels and college 24/7. Hostel fee is Rs. 10k per year, and food is average. Quality varies from hostel to hostel as contractor is different for each hostel.
Faculty: Programme is structured into 10 semesters, with exams conducted every six months. Each semester includes a 30-mark internal MCQ test and a 70-mark external theory exam. Curriculum is academically rigorous yet enriching, combining legal theory with practical application. Papers cover a broad spectrum of subjects, including Corporate Law, Arbitration, Information Technology Law, Intellectual Property Rights, Law and Social Transformation, and emerging disciplines like Gender Studies and Feminist Jurisprudence. Teaching methodology is interactive, focusing on real-world application over rote learning. Many faculty members have cleared NET and are pursuing or have completed PhDs.
Other: MSU offers a vibrant co-curricular scene with annual fests like Atrangi (cultural fest) and Lux et Veritas (law fest), both organized by student-led committees with month-long dedication and planning. Library facilities are excellent, most required books and journals are available in faculty library, and Hansa Mehta Library on main campus fill any remaining gaps. Annual sports events are also organized, including chess, badminton, running, and group sports. Student-run clubs like Vox Legis (magazine club) are active and engaging, while others like Moot and Eco clubs exist but are relatively less active.

Yes, MSU Baroda is worth taking admission. The total tuition fee is quite low. The ROI for this university is quite high. Campus Culture is quite good. On comparing with the private universities/colleges, MSU Baroda is ahead of them due to various benefits it provides to students with low cost.
