SoET, Pandit Deendayal Energy University BTech Courses & Fees 2025: Eligibility, Admission, Dates

SoET, PDEU BTech course admission begins with registration. The candidates have to apply for the preferred course by visiting the official website. The university accepts national and state-level entrance examinations for BTech admission. Following is the step-wise SoET, PDEU admission procedure:

STEP 1: SoET, PDEU Application Process 2025

Aspirants applying for All India Quota seats to pursue BTech are required to register on the official website of the university. Candidates applying for Government seats have to log on to the official website of the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), Gujarat, to submit their application. Candidates are required to pay an application fee to register for a course. The following steps may be followed by candidates to apply for the BTech course offered by SoET, PDEU:

Step 1.1: Go to the official website of SoET PDEU, https://pdeu.ac.in/school-of-energy-technology.

Step 1.2: Click on the registration link.

Step 1.3: Register and complete the application form.

Step 1.4: Upload the documents and pay the application fee.

Step 1.5: Submit the form.

NOTE: The application fee for candidates passing Class 12 from a school located in the state of Gujarat is INR 700, and for schools located outside the state of Gujarat, it is INR 1,200.

Documents required at the time of application

• HSC examination marksheet
• JEE Rank Card
• JEE (Main) Admit Card
• Caste certificate
• Certificate of Physical Disability (if applicable)
• A latest passport-size photograph of the candidate

STEP 2: Selection

The university considers various entrance exam scores, such as GUJCET or JEE Main, for admission to the BTech programmes. Candidates must meet the required eligibility criteria to be considered for the programme.

STEP 3: Merit List and Admission Confirmation

After the publication of the SoET, PDEU cutoff, candidates with scores greater than or equal to the cutoff are given seats. The university also announces a composite score-based merit list for admission. Shortlisted candidates are required to report for document verification and pay the respective course fee to confirm their seats in the university.

SoET, Pandit Deendayal Energy University, offers scholarships to deserving students. Merit Scholarship and Merit-cum-Means Scholarship are offered by the university. Students get a full or half waiver on the tuition fee through the scholarship. SoET PDEU scholarships are offered to candidates depending on their performance in entrance tests like JEE Main. • Merit Scholarship: Full Tuition Fee Waiver (w.e.f. first semester)

• Special Merit Scholarships: 25% Tuition Fee Waiver as per the intake of the batch 2025-29 for Civil/Electrical/Petroleum Engineering.
• Scholarship for Defense / CAPF Persons: Candidates will fill the general category as well as the Defence/CAPF category. There will be no alteration in the eligibility for admission.
• Scholarship for Son / Daughter of Widow / Divorcee or Orphan child: Half Tuition Fee Waiver
• Scholarship for Son / Daughter of Physically Handicapped Parents: Half Tuition Fees Waiver
