NDRI Minimum Eligibility Criteria for UG, PG & Diploma Courses
Candidates who have cleared Class XII with at least 60% marks are eligible for UG course admissions at NDRI. Candidates who have cleared Class X with minimum of 60% marks are eligible for admission in diploma courses offered at NDRI. Also, candidates who possess a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks fulfil National Dairy Research Institute eligibility criteria for PG admissions.

NDRI Admission Process for UG, PG & Diploma Courses
For admission in NDRI, candidates need to appear for ICAR AIEEA for UG and PG courses.
For admission in diploma courses, candidates need to appear for an entrance exam conducted by the institute itself. The entrance exam mainly includes objective-type multiple choice questions. Also, the duration of the entrance exam typically ranges from 1.5 to 3 hours depending on the course a candidate has applied for.
After clearing the entrance exam, candidates need to attend a counselling session where they are allotted seats in their respective courses and colleges on the basis of merit.
NDRI Application Process for UG, PG & Diploma Courses
Candidates can apply at NDRI in offline mode. NDRI application forms can either be purchased or downloaded from the official website of the varsity. Once the form is duly-filled candidates need to submit it at the address mentioned by the varsity.
NDRI application fee also needs to be paid in the offline mode in the form of a demand draft (DD). For B Tech course admissions, DD must be drawn in favour of ICAR Unit, NDRI, Karnal and payable at Karnal.
