NIIT University PhD Eligibility & Highlights 2026
NIIT University PhD 2026 are available in many specialisations. These include PhD Biotechnology, PhD Computer Science and Engineering, PhD Educational Technology, PhD Electronics & Communication, PhD GIS, PhD Mathematics & Basic Sciences, PhD Management and PhD Humanities & Social Sciences. The following points highlight the NIIT University Eligibility Criteria 2026:
- A master's degree or professional degree equivalent to a master's degree with at least 55% aggregate marks or grade B in the UGC 7-point scale.
or
- An equivalent degree from a foreign educational institution accredited by an approved Assessment and Accreditation Agency.
Experience is not necessary for those who want to take admission in the NIIT University PhD programmes. There is an entrance test for admission to PhD programmes. Those who qualify for UGC NET and GATE are exempted from NU's entrance exam. Candidates will have an in-person interview with research faculty.
