- Registration for the BTech course via BITSAT 2026 (session 1) has concluded. Session 1 exams will take place on Apr 15 and Apr 16, 2026. Also, students can register for Session 2 starting Apr 20, with exams scheduled for May 24 to May 26, 2026.
NIIT University BTech Eligibility & Highlights 2026
NIIT University BTech degree 2026 include six specialisations. These include BTech Biotechnology, BTech Computer Science & Engineering, BTech Cyber Security, BTech Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, BTech Electronics & Communication Engineering and B Tech IoT and Automation. This 4-year degree program has 8 semesters which not only cover theory and projects but also R&D and capstone projects.
For all specialisations except BTech Biotechnology, Physics, Chemistry and English are mandatory, with either Biotechnology, Mathematics or Biology being the fourth subject. For all other BTech specialisations, Physics, Chemistry and Math are mandatory subjects. Either Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, Informatics Practices, Engineering Graphics, Agriculture, Business Studies, Entrepreneurship or Technical Vocational subject; can be the fourth subject.

There are two types of payment plans for the NIIT BTech fee 2026. One is an annual payment plan (APP), and another is a Semester payment plan (SPP). The total fee includes a number of components. These include INR 1,500 as a non-refundable application fee, INR 20,000 as an acceptance fee and INR 60,000 as a refundable security deposit.
Annual Payment Plan
The annual NIIT BTech fee 2026 ranges between INR 3.5 lac to INR 3.9 lac.
Those who want to stay need to pay the hostel fee, which depends on occupancy and gender. Single occupancy hostel fee is INR 2.21 lac for females and INR 2.77 lac for male students. Male double occupancy hostel fee is INR 2.41 lac, and male triple occupancy is INR 2.01 lac.
Semester Payment Plan (SPP)
Semester 1 and 2 NIIT BTech fee 2026 is INR 2.05 lac. Tuition fee for the first semester is payable on enrolment.
Hostel Fee
Hostel, mess and laundry fees are payable after the campus opens. The hostel fee for female single occupancy is INR 1.17 lac for semesters 1 and 2. For male triple occupancy, it is INR 1.07 lac, and for male double occupancy, it is INR 1.28 lac. Single male occupancy room costs INR 1.47 lac for semesters 1 and 2.
