B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2027

Strong industry exposure with good placements and peaceful campus life.
Placements: Around 95% of B.Tech CSE students are placed. The highest package is 24 LPA, the lowest is 4 LPA. Top recruiters are IBM, TCS, PWC, and Infosys. Around 98% of students got internships at ZS, Amazon, and TCS with roles like developer, analyst, consultant, and software engineer.
Infrastructure: Campus has smart classrooms, strong Wi-Fi, robotics, and IBM labs. Library is digital and updated. Hostels are clean, and food is decent. Medical center is available 24X7. Sports include cricket, football, gym, and badminton. Mess food is decent and clean hostels with laundry.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and experienced. Teaching is practical and clean. Curriculum is industry focused. Exams are moderate, and most students pass easily with pass percentage above 90%. Students are ready for jobs. Industry-oriented exams are moderate.

Good placements and hostel for 2025.
Placements: They have a great placement record and give 100% placement, and also give a 1-year internship. Companies that came are TCS, Wipro, etc. After that, 99% of people from my batch are placed in companies with a developer or manager role.
Infrastructure: Hostel and academic block both have Wi-Fi enabled in them with the classrooms with natural air from EAT. Hostel is good, and same for the mess food, they give us lots of variety so that everyone can eat easily. They also give us some fruits or some sweets.
Faculty: Faculty is good, they take good care of us if we have a query about anything. They make us understand that and also take extra classes before the exams so that we don't fail, and they make us industry-ready by making us study different subjects. This also gives us confidence to present ourselves in front of anyone.
Other: I liked the course with AI, and they give best placements, that's why I chose that. Also, the events and fest are regular. I mean, they are often done every 3 months, so we can enjoy and gain experience.

Dissatisfied with the faculty. Placements are average. Infrastructure and facilities are just fine.
Placements: Almost all the students are placed as there are a very less number of students in the course. The highest package was 23 LPA, and the lowest was 4-5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Microsoft and IBM. Almost all students got internships and placements. Top roles that are offered can be Data Science Engineer, Software Engineer, and Full Stack Developer.
Infrastructure: The facilities in the classroom are pretty good. There is Wi-Fi in labs, classrooms, and library as well, but Wi-Fi hardly works in the hostel. Facilities in the hostel are just average, and the quality of mess food is below average. Medical facilities and sports are fine.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified, experienced, and knowledgeable as well. But the teaching quality is a bit average. The university claimed that the curriculum is relevant, and it somehow makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams are usually easy, and almost all students pass.
Other: I chose this course because it is in trending, and I had interest in it. The course should be made more relevant. Events, fest, and crowd is average.

This will brief you about the college and their education.
Placements: Placement cell is very sweet to the students who are in their IP. The course which I did is also very beneficial for me, as they provide all the market knowledge and opportunities to practice them. Whenever projects came, we learned a lot from them.
Infrastructure: Too good infrastructure, and the hostels are the home of students who enjoy the friends' company. They are the ones who will give you all the memories of hostel and college life. They have 3-4 gyms for fitness, and they are in good condition currently.
Faculty: The faculty and their way of explaining the topics and the exams, and they help in mentoring the projects. They really help to learn about the topics we are selecting as a project, and they also explain the topics very nicely so that we can do it in detail.
Other: The events are too good to experience. On a low scale, artists are not really big, but yes, the vibe of the fest is too good.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty, average placements in 2024, and okish infrastructure.
Placements: As of now, in my university, I'm able to observe that in terms of recruiters, only a few startups are coming to recruit students and very few MNCs. Even TCS is not satisfied with the performance of students here. Here, you can get IP, which they call something very revolutionary, but it's not.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the hostel is fine, but in summers, the hostel rooms are so hot because there is no option for air conditioning. Here, you get the Earth Air Tunnel System, which is not at all useful. Mess food is fine. You have to buy equipment for your projects; they don't get it for you.
Faculty: Only 3-4 professors are familiar with their subjects. Other professors actually don't even know what to teach. The academic dean is completely crazy. They hardly give you marks. Teaching quality is totally below average. The students are not at all industry-ready.
Other: I would like this college to improve its course faculty first. Also, the higher post dean doesn't realize the quality of teachers they have here. Events are below average. It is located in Neemrana, where you hardly want to step outside the campus because you won't get a single useful thing out here. Here, you won't get Blinkit, or Zepto because the area is too underdeveloped.

NIIT University: A Fusion of Academic Excellence and Industry-Driven Innovation.
Placements: From past year records and as mentioned on our college website, all the students who appeared for placements got placed. The lowest package was around 5-6 LPA, the average was 10-11 LPA, and the highest was 25-30 LPA. Some companies that visit our college are Genpact, TCS, Cognizant, and Infosys. Many students receive industry-relevant internships each year in companies like Wipro, Airtel, Zomato, and E&Y.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and hostel are pretty good compared to other private universities. The college has 2 hostels for girls and 2 for boys. The whole college is equipped with good Wi-Fi service, and the mobile network is also strong, with 5G working on most of the campus. We have digital labs, classrooms, lecture halls, a library, and rooms for table tennis, music, dance, meetings, and an auditorium. The boys' hostel has triple, double, and single rooms. Choosing a single seater requires a higher payment compared to a triple seater. Each hostel has bathrooms and toilets for each wing, with geysers and water coolers. Rooms have EAT, which is basically natural A/C. The mess food quality is excellent as compared to other colleges. The college has a snack shop and two restaurants. Medical facilities are available 24/7. There are also football, cricket, and basketball courts for outdoor activities.
Faculty: Teachers here are very professional, understanding, and helpful. They live on campus, which is beneficial for us, we can seek their guidance anytime. The teaching quality is good. They ensure that each student follows along and understands each topic. The course curriculum is relevant and designed to prepare students for the future, ensuring they acquire industry-relevant knowledge. The course curriculum enables us to seek industry practice in our final year, providing exposure to real-world scenarios. Honestly, semester exams are not that difficult if you follow your teachers' notes and are a regular student who understands the topics taught in class.
Other: My motive to pursue B.Tech in CSE at NIIT University is firstly the ROI, which is pretty good compared to other private universities. Secondly, campus life is excellent, with a focus on sustainable development and greenery. We have many fests like TEDx, AIESEC, HULT Prize, Techfest Sinusoid, and Cultural Fest Ingenuity, along with several clubs that keep college life interesting apart from studying. The student crowd is smaller compared to other private colleges, resulting in less competition for placements and decent packages. We also receive scholarships in the first year based on our entrance exam and 12th-grade marks, which remain if we maintain a CGPA above 6 every year. Scholarships can be waived off when we achieve a 10 CGPA in a year, benefiting many students.
