While the previous years cut off of private medical college like NIMS depends on the management quota which was between 200 – 450 marks and the state quota between 400 – 500 marks. National Institute of Medical Sciences & Research NIMS, Jaipur is quite a good option for MBBS. The college is approved by National Medical Commission of India and has MBBS annual admission of 150 students. The college offers well-equipped laboratory, modern teaching aid and an unauthorized teaching hospital with over one thousand beds. Approximately Rs. 20-25 Lacs per course for MBBS makes it costly than the government built colleges but reasonable when compared to other private colleges. It has acceptable academic standard; however, it may not be as good as those standards postulated by the government colleges. In health care, interns and placement opportunities are fairly decent for graduates.
