In JEE Mains for mechanical engineering, you have to score more than 200 marks for good NIIT and same for EEE.

I feel sorry to say, lateral entry is not allowed in NITs and IITs. But, don't loose hope. You can complete your B.Tech in other top state government colleges and private colleges, which defined will be fruitful for you. All the best.
