Review of NIT Trichy - National Institute of Technology.

Placements: Placements and job opportunities are really good. There is a separate placement cell in the college that looks into these matters and arranges placements for students. Students get placements in analyst, research companies, banks, and many more profiles. The average package is around 4 LPA-8 LPA, and the highest package is 25 LPA. Companies like Capgemini, Infosys, L&T Infotech, TCS, Wipro, Amazon, etc., visit the college. They conduct interview sessions and practical tests for selection of stud...

My college journey is absolutely a rollercoaster.

Placements: Around 90% of students are placed from our batch. The highest package is 36 LPA. The lowest is around 5 LPA for a teaching role, whereas the average package is around 13 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our batch are BPCL, Meesho, and PharmaAce. Around 20 students from our class of 86 get internships, primarily in P&G and Reliance.

I am satisfied because of the placement and the really good infrastructure.

Placements: 95% of students have been placed in my department. The companies are Bajaj, Apple, Tata, and Titan. The top roles are in marketing, statistics, finance, and automobile. In my course, the seniors have good placements. They will go for internships at many companies; 90% of students will do internships.

Initially totally dissatisfied, later it became good.

Placements: National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli is mainly known for its placements. We have very good placements even in lower branches like Production and MME. In my course, 74 out of 94 students got placed. The highest package was 36 LPA. The median was 12 LPA. Most companies from different sectors came to the campus with various job roles. It includes Product Management, Supply Chain Management, and sometimes software roles.

It has good infrastructure, but a bad climate in the summer. There are exceptional peers.

Placements: I'm not sure about the percentage of students who got internships or placements. I suggest that students just check it out on the college website. It is legitimate. But to be frank, the packages offered in core, as I know, in production are very few. But this branch is special in offering the connection between management and technical fields. Excellent packages and placements are available in non-core fields, especially consulting and management. The branch is a chill one, which offers ample ti...
