Biochemistry deals with study of chemical basis of life in living organism including plants and animals. It is very much developed science and has following branches:

Clinical biochemistry
Plant biochemistry
Environmental biochemistry
Nutrition biochemistry
Industrial biochemistry, molecular biology and genetics, etc.
