Yes, you can also join Osmania University without GATE because there are many more exams from which we can join Osmania University like TSICET, CMAT, APECET, TS EAMCET etc. These are the national-level exams held in India through which we can join Osmania University by getting certain ranks which differs for different exams. No, you cannot get direct admission at Osmania University, it does not intake students without its entrance exam which is DOST. Being one of the most prestigious and the oldest Universities it has its own rules and regulations. So, one cannot directly get a seat in Osmania University without writing DOST entrance exam. There are many phases in DOST. We should apply for it and wait for the allotment of seats for students. After which there will be counselling done for the students who got seat in different courses in that college.
