To get admission in this university for MVSc, first you have to give entrance exam which includes various subjects as per the regulation of MSVE-VCI 2008. And students must have to score at least 40% marks in the test to get a secure admission in this university. Every year cut off is different and its depends upon various factors but you can have a idea like you have to answer 100-120 ques out of 200 correctly to get admission here.
To get admission in this university you must fullfill the eligibility criteria i.e you should be clear 10+2 with PCM examination from any recognised boar.
Selection is based on the entrance exam which is basically conducted and that is EAMCET stands for Engineering, Agriculture, Medical Common Entrance Test conducted by Telengana state
Coming to the cutoff, it is based on various factors such as no. of applicants, seats available, overall performance of applicants. Last year 2023 closing rank was around 84235 - 84250. And the closing rank for the year 2022 is somewhere around 76200- 77250.
So, this time, to get a safer side you should expect somewhere between 75000- 80000 for General category.
To get admission in P.V. Narsimha Rao Telangana Veterinary University, the eligibility criteria is you must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with a minimum 50% aggregate marks from a reputed board.
Secondly, You have to score good in TS EAMCET exam. This exam includes the knowledge in subjects like physics, chemistry, mathematics (or biology) and english. As per as my knowledge, you don't have to give TJEE to get admission here. You have to give TS EAMCET which I have already discussed.

- AP EAMCET: - be admitted to the MVSC program, the university accepts scores from the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET. The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada administers the Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET) on behalf of APSCHE.
2. ICAR AIEEA: - When admitting students to the MVSC, the university also takes into account their results from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research All India Entrance Examination for Admission (ICAR AIEEA). The National Testing Agency (NTA) administers the ICAR AIEEA, a national entrance exam, to candidates seeking admission to undergraduate and graduate programs in agriculture and related sciences.
3. PGCET : - Additionally, PV Narsimha Rao Veterinary University may accept PGCET (Post Graduate Common Entrance Test) scores for MVSC admissions. PGCET is a state-level entrance exam conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh for admission to various postgraduate courses including veterinary science.
The last date to apply for TS EAMCET without late fee is April 4. Candidates must apply according to the TS EAMCET registration dates. To apply for TS EAMCET, candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of the intermediate examination or equivalent under the Board, with optional subjects. TS EAMCET application form includes payment of fees, filling out the application form, uploading a photograph and signature, and taking a printout of the application form.
