PRSU was founded in 1964 by the Madhya Pradesh Government. The institute is NAAC A Grade accredited and AICTE approved. PRSU University Raipur, with its 29 teaching departments or schools of study and approximately 150 affiliated colleges, provides PG, UG, PG diploma, certificate, diploma, doctoral, and post-doctoral courses to students in the fields of Management, Science, Arts, Law, Commerce, and other fields. Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University Raipur has an Anti-Ragging Cell. PRSU is a well-known university in the state of Chhattisgarh. The university offers a two-year MA course across various popular specialisations such as Linguistics, Economics, Psychology, English, History, etc. The university provides good placement support to its students. Candidates seeking admission to a MA course must meet the course-specific minimum eligibility requirements as per the university's norms. As per the university guidelines, the aspirant shall have a valid Bachelor’s/BA degree in the relevant specialisation. In addition, candidate must have passed the degree course with at least 45% aggregate and the degree must be issued by a recognised university or organisation. Candidate must have other academic certificates as well. These documents have to be presented during form filling and admission confirmation.
The minimum eligibility for UG courses is passing Class 12 in major-specific subjects with 45% aggregate (40% for reserved category). The minimum eligibility for PG and PG Diploma courses is having a Bachelor's degree in the same discipline with 45% aggregate (40% for reserved category).
Candidates shall first check the eligibility requirements. Admission to BPEd course at PRSU is completely merit-based. Candidates are selected based on their scores obtained in the last qualifying exam of undergraduate. Aspirants who meet the criteria can fill out the application form.
