at PRSU, Raipur

PRSU is a well-known university in the state of Chhattisgarh. The university offers a two-year MA course across various popular specialisations such as Linguistics, Economics, Psychology, English, History, etc. The university provides good placement support to its students. PRSU has not released the course-wise placements report as of now. However, the university has released its NIRF 2023 report. Admission to MA courses in PRSU is based on merit in the PG entrance test conducted by the university. The university releases a merit list to announce the participant’s scores and the marks required for selection. There are multiple factors depending upon which the cutoff is determined such as aggregate marks of candidates in qualifying exams, number of applications received, seat intake, and the category of the candidate. The application process for MA at PRSU is carried out via online and offline modes. Candidates can buy the admission form by visiting the PRSU campus in person to submit the form in offline mode. 1. Visit the PRSU official website (prsu.ac.in).
2. Click on the registration link and download the application.
3. Fill out the application form carefully.
4. Payment of the application fee, which is INR 400.
5. Submit the application form.

NOTE: For offline submission, candidates need to accompany the application form with a DD of INR 400 payable to the Registrar, Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur. It must be noted that this fee is as per past years’ records and hence is indicative.

Yes, PRSU admissions are open for UG, PG and PG Diploma courses for the academic year 205-26. Students must check the minimum eligibility requirements for their preferred course on the official portal. The selection criteria is merit based for all courses. However, the scores accepted by PRSU for the same differs in terms of PRSU PG entrance exam, National level entrance exam and Class 12 scores.

PRSU allows candidates to join UG courses directly based on merit. The university accepts Class 12 scores for the same, provided the candidate is eligible for his/her course. however, for PG and PG Diploma programmes along with certain UG courses, PRSU accepts national level entrance exams and PRSU PG entrance exam scores.
