Chill but focused environment.

Placements: PID offers moderate placements, mostly depending on students' portfolios and skills. Around 20 to 40 percent of students secure campus placement. The highest reported package has gone up to 21 LPA, with an average ranging between 4 and 6 LPA. Students who attend class regularly and complete assignments generally pass with a generous score.

Infrastructure: PID offers well-equipped workshops, software labs, Wi-Fi, and a resourceful library that supports practical and theoretical learning. Hostel facilities are decent with basic amenities and an average mess. But fails to provide good on-campus medical support, that's the gist.

Faculty: Faculty of Parul Institute of Design is helpful, generous, well-qualified, and supportive. The teaching quality can vary between different instructors. Increased live projects industry exposure could further enhance industry readiness and confidence in the field.

Other: I chose this course because I like understanding problems and finding solutions for them more than that. I also like the hands-on work skill set.

Faculty is great, campus is almost great, hostels aren't so fabulous, but they're worth the money.

Placements: I'm a second-semester student so I surely don't know anything about placements and stuff but there's a 50-50 review about placements as a few days ago, they got good opportunities in placements and a few say they got a really bad experience. So I still need to know.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the course and the institute is really great, I would appreciate all the involved people but the hostels have enough issues that should be taken care of. Mess food especially is a big problem for me personally. But as this course is not problematic it's adjustable.

Faculty: Faculty is really great with a few issues. About exams, I'd say just jury isn't sufficient not like there should be some theoretical exam where students memorize all the stuff and dump on the paper but some better way to present what are the design mindset and principles that were learnt how could they apply over something because in jury only practical experiments are represented which might not consider all the requirements above so it's better if there are some hypothetical questions something like hackathons that are given to B.Tech students and workshops that engage only interested students so that progress increases.

Other: Events are great in here no problem at all. South Fests just need a little increment. The campus crowd is too much. That's so convenient, connectivity is all good but I wish there was more connectivity with people and students from different streams for example product designing students connecting with mechanical engineering students in some concepts, workshops, or projects, and visual communication students working with Computer Science students. That would create a great chance of exploration and exposure. Campus surroundings are pretty good but a smaller scope with extracurricular activities.

A good college to have a proper social and academic life.

Placements: 20-40 percent of students in the product design program get placed every year with good packages. People are securing internships in UI/UX, packaging firms, and furniture designing companies. We learn about software along with 3D modeling, gaining good exposure to materials.

Infrastructure: We are provided with a private table, and Wi-Fi is available. We have our own classroom with private chairs and projectors. Good medical service is provided as we have our own hospital on campus, along with ambulance service. The hostel infrastructure is excellent, with proper care and service, as well as Wi-Fi.

Faculty: The staff is knowledgeable and experienced in their fields. We are prepared with relevant topics and practical experience regarding the industry. Exams are quite easy if we keep up with the assignments throughout the semesters. The passing percentage depends on the teacher.

Other: If you want to have a good social life in terms of events, then Parul is the best.

Placements: There are 50 students for the product designer course. The highest package is 21 LPA, and the average package is 4 to 6 LPA. The course is totally based on practical knowledge. The packages are also dependent on the knowledge of the product and practical work.

Infrastructure: There are a library, workshop, high-quality editing labs,music room, and then there is a movie shooting workspace known as 24 frames. The hostel is good, and the mess also is good. The campus has excellent food courts and it also has sports facilities and gym facilities.
