Dr. Girish Desai - Executive Director, PCET Honored with Visionary Educator India Award at AIMS 35th Annual Convention 

February 25, 2025: Dr Girish Desai, Executive Director of PCET received the prestigious Visionary Educator India Award at the 35th Annual Management Education Convention organized by the Associations of Indian Management Schools (AIMS). The award recognized Dr. Desai’s transformative leadership and profound impact on elevating educational standards nationwide. Notable among them were Dr. Ganesh Rao, Director of Pune Business School, Dr. Parag Kalkar, Pro Vice Chancellor of SPPU, and Kamal Goyal, Marketing Manager at PCU. February 20, 2025: Pimpri Chinchwad University has been recognized for its outstanding contribution to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in education with the prestigious "Honoring CSR Heroes – Inspiring New India" award at the Navbharat CSR Summit 2025.

Green Innovative Club Inaugurated at PCU Campus on World Environment Day

June 14, 2024: In the presence of Dr Manimala Puri, Vice Chancellor PCU, Dr Sudeep D. Thepade, all heads of schools, faculty members, students, and staff. The VC of PCU delivered an inspiring speech emphasizing the importance of environmental stewardship and praised the initiative to form the Green Innovative Club. According to the VC, it is a crucial step towards developing of sustainability and responsibility within the academic community. Nigeria Study In India Mission: Strengthening Educational Ties between Nigeria and India

June 13, 2024: Dr. Girish Desai, Executive Director of Pimpri Chinchwad Education Trust (PCET), and Ms. Rachna Pahuja, International Admissions Manager, are currently representing PCET’s Pimpri Chinchwad University at an investment meeting with the Health Commission of ONDIPA Government in Ondo, Nigeria. This initiative, known as the ‘Nigeria Study In India Mission’, aims at exploring new opportunities and establishing robust educational connections between Nigeria and India. The university also aims to provide Nigerian students, the opportunity to pursue quality education in India through this initiative.

School of Sciences, Pimpri Chinchwad University, Pune, Signs MOU with Yuvana Wellness Cohesive Care LLP

June 13, 2024: PCET’s Pimpri Chinchwad University, School of Sciences signed an MOU with Yuvana Wellness Cohesive Care LLP on 6 June 2024. Yuvana Wellness is an organisation that provides Psychotherapy and Psychometric services to various hospitals and corporations. The organisation is led by the Founding Director Aditi Kulkarni and co-founder Kunal Khanade.

The MOU designates the School of Sciences as the exclusive knowledge partner for the development and implementation of pioneering certificate courses in Wellness, Clinical Psychology, and related projects. The focus of these courses would be to meet the emerging demands of the healthcare industry and provide unique learning experiences and career opportunities to the students. The MOU was signed under the leadership of Ruchu Kuthiala, HOD School of Sciences and her team. This collaboration is a step towards bridging the gap between Industry and Academia. ANANTAM 2024 – Swapnil Joshi and Team ‘Naach Ga Ghuma’ grace Anantam Cultural Fest at PCET's Pimpri Chinchwad University 

April 4, 2024: Held on March 27 and 28, 2024, at PCET's Pimpri Chinchwad University, the first-ever cultural fest, ANANTAM 2024, was a lively celebration of talent and innovation. Marathi idols Sukanya Kulkarni, Sharmishtha Raut, Swapnil Joshi, and child performer Myra Vaikul visited the ceremony to promote their next film "Naach Ga Ghuma," which is scheduled for release on May 1, 2024.
