Plaksha University Mohali Answered Questions

Financial aid may vary from 25% to 100% on tuition and residence costs. The financial aid that is granted at the beginning of the programme will be applicable for the duration of the programme subject to meeting the scholarship conditions.

We understand that these intrinsic qualities cannot be measured through marks alone and therefore believe in going beyond the mark sheet with our holistic selection process.

If the students are applying for financial aid at Plaksha, then they are required (but not limited) to submit the following documents:Incometax returns of all earning members of the familyBank account statement of all members of the familySchool fee receipt (s) of applicant for grade XIISchool fee receipt (s) for the applicant’s siblingDetails of financial asset (s) owned by the family Company’s income tax returns and bank statements (in case any earning member of the family owns a business)

Students coming from commerce and humanities backgrounds can apply for the undergraduate programs at Plaksha, as long as they have studied Mathematics up to Class 12. The undergraduate degrees include BTech programmes and will require the students to go through a freshmore curriculum with core engineering courses including Physics. 

At the time of Plaksha University Mohali admission, students are asked to indicate their preference of a major. However, they will formally declare their major only at the end of the third semester and can choose any of the four majors being offered.  The freshmore curriculum (for 3 semesters) is intentionally designed to be common among the degrees, so that students have an opportunity to be exposed to different options and make an informed choice
