Plaksha University Admission 2025: Fees, Eligibility, Dates & Selection Process

Plaksha University offers admission to PhD programme based on entrance exam scores of the candidates. The university prefers aspirants with scores in CSIR NET-JRF, DBT-JRF, UGC-NET-JRF, GATE, IIT JAM, etc. Such shortlisted aspirants are exempted from appearing for the written test conducted by Plaksha University and are called directly for the interview round. For other selected candidates, a written test based on NET/GATE syllabus of the concerned discipline, is conducted to shortlist aspirants for the interview.

The eligibility criteria at Plaksha University varies course-wise. Aspirants must meet the requirements to apply for a course. Below is the eligibility for each course of Plaksha University:

 Plaksha University BTech qualifications has multiple variations. Some of the qualification required are mentioned below:

• Currently enrolled in Class 12 or equivalent or should have completed Class 12 (or equivalent).
• SAT, ACT, JEE Mains score + Interview.
• If the above test scores are unavailable, candidates should submit Class 12 predicted scores. If selected, an offer of admission will be conditional, subject to final Class 12 scores.
• Should have studied Mathematics till Class 12 as a qualifier for all undergraduate programmes.
• Should have studied Physics till Class 12 to apply to B.Tech in Computer Science and AI, Robotics and Cyber-Physical. Systems and Biological Systems Engineering.
• Students who apply using only predicted scores may go through an extra stage of evaluation.
• Admission decisions are of 4 types - Firm offer, conditional offer, deferral of decision and denial.

Students coming from commerce and humanities backgrounds can apply for the undergraduate programs at Plaksha, as long as they have studied Mathematics up to Class 12. Our undergraduate degrees are BTech programs and will require the students to go through a freshmore curriculum with core engineering courses including Physics.

Yes, students can apply with their predicted Class12 scores. They will have the option of either submitting self-predicted or school predicted scores. If the school has a policy of keeping the predicted scores confidential, they can directly send them to the admissions team.

Plaksha University offers the PG Diploma cousre in Tech Leaders Fellowship (TLF). The programme lasts for a duration of one year. TLF begins with coursework in Math, Programming, Stats, and Data science. Fellows explore advanced topics in ML, System Design, Computer Vision, NLP besides leadership, entrepreneurship, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Yes, Plaksha University offers BTech in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence. The programme is offered in a full-time mode. The course curriculum is inclusive of subjects such as software engineering, Data structure and algorithms, programming languages, database management, data mining, etc. 

No, any student with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics or Science are eligible to apply for TLF. Additionally, students must meet the below requirements:

• Strong grasp of mathematical concepts, specifically in the areas of Probability, Statistics and Linear Algebra
• must have good problem-solving and analytical abilities

Yes, Plaksha University offers some need-based and merit-based scholarships ranging from 25%-100% waiver on tuition fees to selected candidates.

To be eligible for scholarships, candidates are required to fulfill the minimum set selection criteria. 

1. Eligibility: Only those applicants who have been shortlisted for the interview are eligible to apply for financial aid.
2. How are students accessed for need-based scholarships?  The financial aid given by Plaksha University is assessed solely based on the student's family financial standing. It is not based on scholastic merit, sports qualifications or non-financial factors.  
3. Documents required for scholarship assistance:

• Income tax returns of all earning members of the family 
• Bank account statement of all members of the family 
• School fee receipt (s) of applicant of Class XII 
• School fee receipt (s) for the applicant’s sibling 
• Details of financial asset(s) owned by the family 
• Company’s income tax returns and bank statements (in case any earning member of the family owns a Business)
