PJTSAU BSc Eligibility and Highlights 2024
PJTSAU BSc (Hons) is a four years UG level programme offered by Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University. The university offers two specialisations under this programme, Agriculture and Community Science. Admissions to BSc at PJTSAU are primarily made based on EAMCET-24. Moreover, the university also reserved 20% of seat intake for admissions through the ICAR exam. Students seeking admission must also fulfill the below-mentioned eligibility criteria:
Eligibility: Any candidate who has obtained 50% in Class 12 (47.5% for SC/ST/PH category) with mandatory subjects such as subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry & Biology is eligible to apply for PJTSAU BSc courses.

PJTSAU BSc course admission are made based on merit in EAMCET/ICAR UG. The application process for PJTSAU BSc courses is carried out in online mode. STEP 1: PJTSAU BSc Application Process 2024
In order to apply for a BSc at PJTSAU, students must first apply for EAMCET/ICAR UG. Registration for both exams starts around February and the exams are conducted around May.
Step 2: EAMCET Registration 2024
Students can fill out the EAMCET form in online mode only. The step-by-step process for filling EAMCET exam is as follows:

- Click on the 'Apply Online' link available on the website homepage.
- Pay the registration fee

Step 3: Counselling Process
After the exam results are declared the students are required to fill out the PJTSAU application form to be eligible for counselling process. PJTSAU BSc application fee is INR 500. Students are allocated seats based on their marks in the respective entrance exams and the seat intake of the university.

PJTSAU BSc seats 2024 are allocated based on the rank list made based on EAMCET/ICAR IG exam scores. However, these seats are subject to PJTSAU BSc seat reservation policy. The policy talks about various categories and reservation policy for each of them. Following is a list of the categories and respective percentage of seats reserved at PJTSAU:
- Special Reservation- 40% of the seats in the PJTSAU & SKLTSHU and 25% in PVNRTVU are reserved for candidates belonging to families of Agriculturists.
- Reservation of seats for the candidates coming from Rural Area- 40% of the seats are reserved for candidates who have studied for a minimum of 4 years in schools located in Non-Municipal areas.
- Reservation of Special category seats- 3% seats are reserved for Physically Challenged students and 2% are reserved for Children of Armed Personnel.
- Reservation of seats on basis of category - 10% of the seats are reserved for EWS candidates, 15% are reserved for SC students, 10% for ST students.
