No placements, events, and scholarship inequality.
Placements: As this is an open university, there is no formal placement drive or campus recruitment process for students. Therefore, no official placement statistics (percent placed, highest/lowest/average package) are available for my course. Hence, no internships are available.
Infrastructure: The college offers decent infrastructure for the course, including well-maintained classrooms, access to a digital library, and reliable Wi-Fi for academic purposes. The department has adequate facilities to support learning. However, there is no hostel facility provided by the university, so students need to arrange their own accommodation. As a result, there are no mess, canteen, or on-campus medical facilities specifically for hostel residents.
Faculty: The overall teaching quality is below expectations. While some faculty members are knowledgeable, the learning experience is affected as classes are not conducted in an engaging or consistent manner. Additionally, a few teachers tend to speak to students in a rude or unprofessional tone, which impacts the classroom environment. The curriculum is relevant on paper but lacks practical, industry-oriented exposure. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty, and the pass percentage remains average.
Other: Since it is an open university, there are no cultural events, fests, or large-scale student functions. Hostel and extracurricular facilities are also not available. Scholarships are mostly limited to SC/ST students. While the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) offers schemes for students with disabilities, the university does not accept NSP guidelines for these categories. As a result, even though the government provides disability scholarships, students from this university are unable to benefit from them due to institutional policy.

It is the only open university in Chhattisgarh.
Placements: Most of the students from our batch got placed in various educational institutes. Overall, I have a good experience. My friends and I am are happy with the placements. Many students got their teaching jobs with a decent salary. Most of the educational companies visit here for recruitment.
Infrastructure: You have to choose a study centre for regular classes. Enough facilities will be provided in the study centre, and you will not have any problem. There is a good and clean environment. There are no hostel facilities, but PGs are available nearby. Tiffin services are also available in PGs.
Faculty: It is a two-year course (which can be completed in a maximum of 4 years). There are great teachers, and they complete the course in a given time. They mainly focus on skill development. After this course, you will be able to teach confidently. It is a demanding course with a good future.

This is a great university for those who are working and preparing for other exams.
Placements: 20-30 percent of students are selected for a placement camp each year. The lowest package is 15,000 Rupees monthly, while the highest package is 30,000 Rupees monthly. The top recruitment companies are sales and marketing companies. The top role offered in Bachelor of Arts is 20,000 Rs.
Infrastructure: It is an open university, so we don't have access to traditional facilities. There are no regular classrooms, labs, or a dedicated campus environment. The university primarily offers flexibility for those who are working and preparing for other exams.
Faculty: Since it is an open university, regular classes are not held, but online classes for each subject are conducted for 10-20 days in a year. The semester exams at this college are very difficult because the exams cover a wide range of topics, requiring in-depth understanding and preparation.
Other: I chose the BA subject because it helps in developing analytical and critical thinking skills through discussions and research.
