- The CMAT 2026 result has been declared for admission to the MBA/PGDM/MMS courses. Students can download their scorecards by logging into the official website.
- The CAT 2026 registration is expected to start in the Aug, 2026 for admission to the MBA course.
- The ATMA 2026 July session registrations have started for admission to the MBA/PGDM/MMS courses. The last date to register is Jun 30, 2026, with the exam being scheduled for Jul 12, 2026.

Coming into existence in 2015, Raiganj University is a public state university situated in Raiganj, the Uttar Dinajpur district of West Bengal. This university is the second highest education institution that is the oldest in the North Dinajpur district. It recognises University Grants Commission (UGC) and National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) certified. Besides, it is also recognised under Section 2(f) and 12(B) of the UGC Act. Raiganj University Admission Process and Dates 2025
Raiganj University admission process 2025 is merit-based. The university has three affiliated institutes that offer general and honours degree courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Further, the university offers courses in two modes: Aided and Self-financed. Raiganj University's self-financed programmes run in the evening shifts.
The eligibility criteria for both aided and self-financed programmes are the same. Candidates appearing in the final year of the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply to Raiganj University courses. However, they are required to submit a passed mark sheet before the final admission. English is a mandatory subject for admission to any UG course at Raiganj University. Candidates who have not studied and passed Class 12 in English will not be considered for admission. The Placements at the Raiganj University have seen a significant decrease in the placement rates. The median salary package offered to students in 2022 has decreased by over 26% as compared to 2021. The median package offered to PG students has declined compared to the past three years. In 2020, out of 605 students who participated in the placement program, only 6 were placed. In 2021, out of 625 students only 2 were placed. The next year wasn't any better. In 2022, out of 798 students only 2 were placed. According to unofficial sources, most of the students who had passed out from the college and now is an alumni of the university are mostly working under the educational sector.
A placement cell at NSHM Business School, Durgapur assists with placement activities and plans different training sessions for students. Inviting businesses, scheduling campus recruitment, registering interested students, conducting interviews, and making final placement offers are all part of the placement process. All affiliated schools' aggregate placement statistics for batch 2023 have been made public by NSHM Knowledge Campus Durgapur. Over 1,900 students have been placed thus far. Participating in the Placement Drive, more than 300 recruiters placed 95.6% of the batch. The largest package awarded to MBA students was INR 11.25 LPA, while the average package was INR 5.73 LPA. Participating in the placement drive were some of the top recruiters, including Amazon, SAP, HCL Technologies, Aditya Birla, and Abybaby Events Pvt. Ltd. However, Raiganj University does not offer placement services, and the tiny—less than 2%—percentage of students who do so receive placements. Nonetheless, a few students were chosen after Orient Gems & Tournaments Pvt. Ltd. held a placement drive at the Department of CIS in 2022. Furthermore, they don't offer any internships. Thus, it appears that NSHM Business School in Durgapur provides better placements than Raiganj University, based on the information that is currently available.

Raiganj University courses are offered on an aided and self-financed basis. The self-financed courses are offered in the evening slot. A total of 19 UG and PG courses are offered on a self-financed basis. At UG level, the University offers 25 aided courses in a wide range of specialisations such as Commerce, Science, languages, Education, etc. On the other hand, 24 aided PG courses are offered at the University campus. The University also offers MPhil and PhD courses in Arts, Commerce, and Science streams. These Research programmes are offered on an aided basis only.
