Compared to other MBA schools, Raiganj University's MBA programme has a low cost structure. Nevertheless, not much is known about Raiganj University's MBA placements. The university reportedly has a placement cell that helps students locate acceptable employment opportunities. The fee for BSc at Raiganj University is around INR 16,700. The is comparitively low compared to other university. Candidates must pay the BSc fee once the merit lists are released. If the students fail to pay the fees within the stipulated time, his/her name will not be considered in any subsequent list of the same subject.

A placement cell at NSHM Business School, Durgapur assists with placement activities and plans different training sessions for students. Inviting businesses, scheduling campus recruitment, registering interested students, conducting interviews, and making final placement offers are all part of the placement process. The Placements at the Raiganj University have seen a significant decrease in the placement rates. The median salary package offered to students in 2022 has decreased by over 26% as compared to 2021. The median package offered to PG students has declined compared to the past three years. In 2020, out of 605 students who participated in the placement program, only 6 were placed. In 2021, out of 625 students only 2 were placed. The next year wasn't any better. In 2022, out of 798 students only 2 were placed.  According to unofficial sources, most of the students who had passed out from the college and now is an alumni of the university are mostly working under the educational sector.
