Rajiv Gandhi University's BA course admission varies across the affiliated colleges/campuses where the BA course is offered. The BA admission is conducted in both merit-based and entrance-based. For, entrance-based candidates must apply to the Common University Entrance Test also known as CUET UG, and appear for the exam. After qualifying the exam, candidates must apply to Rajiv Gandhi University for the BA programme.
As for merit-based admission, candidates must have a valid score in their last qualifying exam. Candidates must follow the Rajiv Gandhi University admission procedure to get admission to the BA college. The admission process is as follows:
Eligibility Criteria: Class 12 with 40% to 50% aggregate
Application Process: Candidates must visit the Rajiv Gandhi University's official website to apply for the BA progarmme. They must first register and then fill out the online application form.

National Testing Agency re-commenced CUET 2026 registration on February 23, 2026. Soon after the release of the CUET notification, candidates can check the important dates about CUET 2026. The last date for CUET 2026 registration was February 26, 2026 (11.50 PM).
Candidates were required to fill the CUET application form within the given time frame, failing which no request for extension of the CUET registration last date will be entertained. NTA does not provide the window for late fee payment. CUET 2026 application process is in online mode. No physical copies of the CUET application form must be sent to the authorities.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Admission will be based on JEE (Advanced) or JEE (Main) with 80% aggregate in Class 12.
- During preparation of merit list, preference will be given to students who have qualified JEE (Advanced).
- Minimum 60% in aggregate (55% for SC/ST) in Class 12* in case of JEE (Advanced).
- *The criteria of 60% in Class 12 is waived-off for current year (2022–23) only for JEE (Advanced) qualified students.
Reservation policy as per the Government of India directive will be followed. In addition, following the GOI directive and to encourage technical education among the girls, 17% of the seats will be reserved for female candidates on supernumerary basis over the current strength. The certificate for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwD/EWS must be submitted in the specified format during time of admission.
