Rayat Bahra University: An overview of academic structure and student development.
Placements: Placement rates tend to be decent, but average packages often align with overall university states. MBA / Management: Often slightly higher average packages in some reports. Pharmacy & specialized Streams: variable, often linked to industry internships.
Infrastructure: Separate hostels for boys and girls are available on campus, designed to give a safe and comfortable home-away-from-home for students. Rayat Bahra University's every hostel includes common rooms, activity areas, dining/mess hall, reading rooms, and canteen access. Rayat Bahra University facilities typically include hot water in winter, Wi-Fi internet, security, and power supply.
Faculty: Classroom instruction typically includes lectures, tutorials, practical labs (for technical courses), project supervision, and assignments. Faculty design course content to cover core theory plus some practical/industry-oriented topics, depending on the department.
Other: RBU offers multiple scholarship schemes, both merit-based and for special categories, to support meritorious, needy, and high-performing students. Student clubs often organize cultural fests, music events, competitions, technical fairs, and social activities. These may vary by year and active student groups. (Not always listed online, usually unannounced on campus or student portals. ).

B.Sc. in Forensic Science - Batch of 2027

The amount of fees they charge does not justify the services they provide. Not recommended.
Placements: Not all courses provide placement opportunities, but courses like MBA, B.Tech, and others do provide placement opportunities in MNCs. The average package goes in lacs. For an internship, the college does not assist. B.Sc. students do not have any placement opportunities. Only a few students get internships, and also not many, approximately around 60 percent only.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are clean and well-made. There are good labs with proper equipment, proper boards and screens for study purposes, but there are no Wi-Fi or AC facilities. The library is good and spacious, but it does not have books from all courses, so you have to submit an application to request books, and you will do so. The hostel facilities are not good. Most of the rooms have fungus growing on the walls, there is no proper ventilation, the bathrooms are not properly cleaned, and the food is average as well. Hostel not recommended. The canteens are good, and there are different outlets providing food at reasonable prices.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. They are also very friendly and help in all courses of life. The teaching methods are also upto mark. The course I'm pursuing is a BSc in Forensic Science, and I think all the subjects are helpful for the private and government sectors as well. The semester exams are difficult but not very difficult. If you study properly, you are good to go.
Other: I wanted to enter the crime department for crime investigation in Forensic Science. This is why I chose this course. The things I want that would be better are more lab visits and practical insights should be explained, as our subject is more practical-based, which is still lacking. The events occur every month, ranging from small to large. Recently, Techno Virsa occurred, and it was one of the university's biggest fest and multiple singers came, and it was really good. The campus is big, but not that big campus crowd is also good. Scholarships are provided.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2026

Everything is good in this university, as various developments are going on
Placements: Approximately 62% of students from the B.Tech batch were placed through on-campus recruitment drives, though according to student reviews, the effective placement rate is estimated to be around 80-90%, the highest package is 25 LPA, the lowest package is 3 LPA, and the average package is 4 to 4.5 LPA. Top recruitment companies are Amazon, Infosys, TCS, Wipro, HCL, etc.; additionally, approximately 90% of students got internships from our course at Infosys, TCS, etc.; and we offer roles like software developing engineer, full-stack engineer, data analyst, and QA tester.
Infrastructure: Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Rayat Bahra University is well-equipped to meet the academic and technical needs of students. The campus offers high-speed Wi-Fi internet, where labs are equipped with updated software and high-performance systems. Classrooms are spacious and equipped with an enhanced learning system.
Faculty: Faculty members of Rayat Bahra University are generally qualified, experienced, and approachable, with most holding master's or Ph.D. degrees; the curriculum is designed to align with current industry trends, especially in computer science, mechanical engineering, and management; and while semester exams are moderately difficult, with regular attendance and consistent study, the pass rate is generally above 85%, depending on the department and academic performance.
Other: I chose a B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering programme at Rayat Bahra University because of a strong interest in technology, problem-solving, and software development. I feel more industry tie-ups are needed along with advanced lab equipment. The university hosts a tech fest, cultural event, and annual sports meet. Events like Techno Versa create more excitement to join this university.

According to me, it is an average college, not that much bad or good but just a mix of it.
Placements: The placement is good here but from what I've seen in my course the students prefer to go for further studies. The average package as mentioned by the university on their website for pharma is 4 LPA. The recruiting companies in our department are comparatively better than the other departments.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average. The whole university is smaller than you expect but they are renovating the building regularly and about the classrooms and library, they both are good the only issue with them is, even though they've given free Wi-Fi, it doesn't work all the time and the speed is slow. The hostel I've heard is not the best but not the worst too, the food in the mess is average. Canteens and shops have great value. The sports facility is only available after the class hours that is after 4:30 pm.
Faculty: Teachers in my department are the best. They are very helpful and frank. They are knowledgeable, but that might not be the case with the whole university. We have a lab for half of the day, and the quality of labs is okay, it's just average. Semester exams are easy to pass, we just have to study consistently.
Other: We even have multiple events during the year. Some of them are extremely fun. I wish that the university was a lot bigger but it can't be helped right now. B.Pharma is way better than any other course as the classes are regular. Teachers are also strict and lenient at the same time, so it's a good mix. The value for money term for this university is good as it feels for B.Pharma is comparatively lower than the other universities.

It is an amazing university. The college provides good placements for doctors and engineers.
Placements: I am going to complete my first year this month and I have learned more than I thought. My seniors got the actual placement which they didn't expect. It's great to be in this university. 93% of students got placements in the course. They got internships in different hospitals actually. My university has its hospital so most students join there for internship.
Infrastructure: We have a separate laboratory for each subject. We have an anatomy subject and for that, we have a good lab with good equipment. The hostel quality is extraordinary. The food is almost good but as you can understand hostel food is hostel food it can't taste like home food but it is good, healthy, and hygienic.
Faculty: All the teachers have good knowledge of their respective subjects. They have a very helpful nature. Exams are difficult. Teachers have great knowledge of their subject so it depends on the students if they study they will pass otherwise fail. The pass percentage is 50%.
Other: I chose this course because I want to become a doctor in the future. My family members have joint pains so whenever I see them I feel upset that's why I thought I'd find the treatment and make them comfortable.

Please don't take admission here your future will be spoiled.
Placements: Only 10-15 students got placed yet out of 120 students. The highest package is 6 LPA and the lowest is 2 LPA. No top recruiter as the placement rate is very low. All the students are training except few students got the internships. Roles offered are artificial intelligence, machine learning, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good as free Wi-Fi for everyone. Labs are also good and all the devices in the lab working properly. Library is so awesome as all the content you can get from the library. I'm a day scholar so I can't say anything about mess and hostel. Very poor in sports and spoiling all the athlete's lives.
Faculty: Only a few teachers are knowledgeable as they hire new teachers every semester. They don't make students industry-ready as they have no focus to teach the students practically. Not difficult if you prepare properly. Pass percentage is 30% so every student can get it by studying properly.
