1. Application Process: Candidates applying for admission to courses offered at constituent colleges of RGPV are required to apply via DTE MP counselling process after qualifying for the respective entrance exams. Whereas, for admission to affiliated colleges of RGPV, candidates must apply on the official website concerned colleges.
2. Selection Rounds: Candidates seeking admission to courses such as BTech, MTech, MBA, BPharm, etc., must qualify for the respective national-level entrance exams such as JEE Main, GATE, CMAT, etc. These courses are taught via the university's constituent colleges. Whereas for admission to courses such as B.Ed, BSc, BCA, etc., admission is completely based on the merit scores of candidates obtained in previous qualifying exams. These courses are taught at the affiliated colleges of RGPV.
3. Counselling Process: After the completion of the selection rounds, candidates have to apply for DTE MP Counselling process for the final seat allotment. After the release of the final merit lists, candidates have to visit the university's admission office in person for document verification.

Yes, RGPV provides BSc courses at the undergraduate level. It is a three-year course, and the same is bifurcated into six semesters. The college offers facilities for BSc in four specialisations, such as Biotechnology, Computer Science, Microbiology, and Biochemistry. Those students who wish to take admission in a BSc course must meet the eligibility criteria. Students are selected based on their academic record. RGPV offers many facilities to its students. RGPV facilities include a library, gym, hostels, computer centre, labs, smart classrooms and others. The library has a large collection of books, magazines, journals, and many more. RGPV also include indoor and outdoor sports facilities for students so that they can spend their leisure time playing games of their choice.

Admission to the BSc course at RGPV is open to those candidates who have passed Class 12 or an equivalent exam. There are four specialisations offered under this programme. Admission to any of these courses is strictly merit-based, where the marks secured in the last qualifying exam are considered. Further, a total of 262 students were placed and 38 students opted for higher studies out of the total 548 students during RGPV BTech placements 2023. Earlier, the highest and average package offered during UIT RGPV placements 2022 stood at INR 44 LPA and INR 4.4 LPA, respectively. Further, 54 companies visited the campus and 542 students were placed during UIT RGPV placements 2022.

The university has not released list of companies visited during placement drive for the year 2023. However as per external sources some of companies visited during recent placement drive are IBM, TCS Mumbai, Tech Mahindra, Accenture, Infosys, Wipro, Amazon, and many more.

To get adnmission toi BArch for the General Home State category, candidate must try to get a rank under 77 for admission to RGPV - Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya.
