About my college and facilities.
Placements: 50 percent of students got placed. The highest package is 6 LPA. The lowest is 2 LPA. The average package is 3 LPA. Top recruiting company is Ultratech. 70 percent of students got internships from my course at Ultratech in civil engineering. My college is very good for average and topper students.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in my department, and the labs are good. All classrooms are very good and clean. The library is available, and all books are available for my use. No medical facilities are available in my college. There is no canteen. Sports and games are playing in group and very big ground.
Faculty: All teachers are good and knowledgeable in teaching. Teaching quality is excellent. There is no difficulty in the semester exam. 90 percent of students pass in this college. All students pass easily because my teachers are very good and hardworking for my classes.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in studying building construction and design. All events are celebrated in my college. The campus is situated on 250 acres. Scholarships are available for eligible students.

Subpar placements, outdated infrastructure, and lack of academic quality.
Placements: Placements are very poor with only 15 to 20 percent of students getting placed. The average package is around 1.5 to 2 LPA. The highest goes up to 4 LPA. Most companies visiting campus are mass recruiters offering non-technical, sales, or customer support roles. Almost no students receive official internships through college. Top roles offered are Process Associate and Sales Executive.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is outdated and poorly maintained. Classrooms lack proper working projectors, and student Wi-Fi is non-existent. Computer labs have old systems that crash frequently during practical sessions. The library lacks updated syllabus books. Hostel facilities are subpar. Mess food is hygienic, and sports amenities are completely neglected.
Faculty: Most faculty members lack industry exposure and focus solely on theoretical, surface-level teaching. The curriculum is outdated and does not prepare students for current market requirements. Semester exams are moderately difficult, but evaluation feels consistent. Students mostly rely on self-study to pass.
Other: I joined expecting good opportunities based on advertisements, but experienced poor career guidance. Management prioritizes strict attendance and fine collection over skill development or technical events. Campus life and extracurricular activities are virtually absent. I would not recommend taking admission here.

Good infrastructure and faculty. Average package in 2026.
Placements: Approximately 40–50% of students get placed. The average package is low compared to other colleges, at around 4.5–6 LPA. The highest package is 12 LPA from Bridgestone. The lowest is 3.5 LPA, offered by mass recruiters. Top companies are Havells, Adani, JSW Steel, Shakti Pumps, Bridgestone, and LTIMindtree. The top roles offered are Business Analyst, Research Analyst, Operations Trainee, and Supply Chain/Quality Control roles. Around 30–40% of students got internships.
Infrastructure: Some of the infrastructure and equipment are old, but the classrooms are good. All sports facilities are available. The quality of food is also good. An open mess for all students is also available, along with all the other necessary facilities. Hostels are also above average. Some hostel infrastructure is old, but otherwise everything is fine.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They guide us very well. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. They understand students and teach accordingly. The curriculum is also relevant. They have added AI to it. It makes us industry-ready. The semester exams are moderate. The passing percentage is more than 90%. Faculty members are very experienced.

Average private college. It is not so good, not so bad.
Placements: Placements are average. They are not very high. Only a few people get hired, mostly those with a high CGPA. Many students get jobs by applying off-campus, and the college adds their names to its board. Roughly less than 10% of people get a job on campus, and the rest are on their own. The top recruitment companies are mostly TCS, Capgemini, etc. The highest package is 72 LPA, which was achieved by someone at Amazon after applying off-campus. Internships are done by roughly 30% of students. The average package is about 4–5 LPA, and the lowest package is about 2.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: I'm giving the infrastructure 3 out of 5 because the classrooms are not really good. There are dusty and broken benches and desks, which is gross for us. Drinking water is good and hygienic. The toilets are cleaned every day, 2–3 times, which is really good for me. Hostels are average, not really good. The mess is good, but the food is not really good, just average quality. Sports and games are played on campus. There is a coach who guides us to play and helps us prepare for tournaments.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, but not very good. They can't really explain every concept well. Most faculty members are young with very little experience. There is a TG (Tutor Guardian) who helps with students' problems, which I find really good. The course curriculum is relevant. Faculty members teach topics related to the curriculum, which is good. Students can't be industry-ready until they work in an industry for about a year, so that's the case. Semester exams are 7/10 tough. We can easily score more than the passing score if we study properly for 2 days.
Other: I chose this course because I'm interested in hardware. I find it really fascinating. I think colleges should invest in tools that are relevant to the modern world because most of the things are old. Events and fests are pretty average. Last time, they called a lady singer for the fest. Scholarships are based on caste. I'm not eligible because I'm in the general category.

Infrastructure is good and we have a lush green campus.
Placements: Most of the roles were in the IT sector and Automobile sector, which includes companies like TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, and many more. Approximately 70 percent of students got placed. The average package is 6 LPA. The placement criteria are mostly 7 CGPA and a good reputation in college.
Infrastructure: Hostels are very poor. Hostels are available only for first-year students from second year, most students don't get a hostel and the amenities of hostels and food are poor. The hostel mess is very poor but related to ROI, it's way better as the hostel fee is Rs. 5,000 per year.
Faculty: Faculty members are very supportive. Exams are very easy and predictable, but checking is very tough for some subjects but subjects are interesting, and they have proper practical knowledge. Professors are very intellectual, for real.

Not a learning environment. I suggest that if you want to do engineering, don't come to Bhopal.
Placements: 2 percent of students got placed. The highest package is 11 LPA. The average package is 3 LPA-4 LPA. Top recruiting companies visits in CS department. 5 percent of students got internships in different companies, but more students got internships at Indeyes Pvt Ltd. Top roles offered are in data analytics.
Infrastructure: Facilities are not very good. Wi-Fi is average and not available. Labs are average because some lab instruments are available. Classrooms are good. Library is good. The quality of food is not good. The canteen is not good. Medical facilities are very bad. Sports are good. Games are not good but average.
Faculty: Teachers are not very qualified but very helpful and knowledgeable. Teaching quality rate is 7-8 out of 10. The sports curriculum is not good because our department is different and goes into different industries. Exams are very difficult because the units are not completed properly. My semester percentage is 79 percent.

RGPV Bhopal generally does not offer direct admissions. Students have to clear the admission rounds to get a seat at the university. This includes appearing for entrance/ counselling. Students can check the official site to know more.
