Chef Santa Sarmah, the 1st Runner-Up of Master Chef India 2023, also attended. Student Induction Program at The Assam Royal Global University

August 5, 2024: On August 2, 2024, at the Student Induction Program at The Assam Royal Global University, Ms Chaitali Panmei, IRS, Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, North Eastern Region Panmei gave a speech to the new class of students at Deeksharambh 2024. Ms. Panmei shed light on the value of financial literacy and its contribution to society and nation-building, urging inductees to make the most of this crucial time as they venture out into various facets of life.

Principal Commissioner Panmei asked students to plan their days down to the last detail, stressing the importance of time on their paths to success. She also provided them with valuable life hacks to help them achieve their goals and reach their full potential.
Ms Panmei was accompanied to the Induction Program by Mr P.S. Thuingaleng, IRS, Additional Commissioner of Income Tax (Head Quarter and TPS), and Mr S. Sadananda Singh, IRS, Deputy Commissioner of Income Tax (Head Quarter), who set the house crooning to his melodious voice on the evergreen number "Yeh Jeevan Hain."

A Faculty Recognition Ceremony for Patent Activities was Held on the 6th of November, 2023

November 8, 2023: The Assam Royal Global University held its third convocation on November 10th, 2023, with Vice President of India Jagdeep Dhankhar as the Chief Guest. The convocation was declared open by Chancellor A.K. Pansari, with Assam Governor Gulab Chand Kataria presiding as the Visitor of the University. Chief Minister of Assam Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma was the Guest of Honour.

In his convocation address, Vice President Dhankhar expressed his surprise and delight at the university's campus and culture. He said that he has visited many universities in the country, and he is confident that this new university will soon set new standards in Indian education.

Justice Ranjan Gogoi Visits Royal Global University

October 16: 2023: Justice Ranjan Gogoi, Former Chief Justice of India (Retd. ) and MP of the Rajya Sabha, recently visited the campus of the Royal Global University. It was a remarkable day for the teachers and students of the Royal Global University. His visit was punctuated by a startling exclamation as he wandered around our lovely surroundings: "I don't feel I'm in Guwahati!!"

The presence of Justice Ranjan Gogoi was evidence of the institution's brilliance and distinctiveness. The entire RGU community had a sense of pride and inspiration during that time. His presence and his kind words, will always be imprinted in our minds and are greatly appreciated, the university sources said.

Placements: 2% of students are placed. Internship is in block placement way so all the students get a placement for a month with field experience twice a week, while in block placement, it's one month of field experience. The roles offered in the course are the field work and using the theory in practice through field work.

The Assam Royal Global University is a diamond hidden in the dumps of Assam.

Placements: About 25% of students got placed. Medical colleges are the top recruiters. About 65% of students got internships. Lab Technician is the top role offered in my course because it is a paramedical course. Things can be improved. .

College has a good environment for the students.

Placements: At our University, students are getting an average number of placement opportunities. Every year, around 30-35% of the students get placed. The average package offered in the BHM course is 3-5 LPA. Students are getting placements and internships in hotels and bars.

College experience is nice and it will help to build your future.

Placements: 50 students got their placements. The salary offered was 3 LPA. Company was in good location, and they provided all the requirements of the employees. Maximum number of students got their internship from our course. The top role was maintaining the computer security system.

Really good infrastructure.

Placements: In the B.A. In the Political Science course, we have a maximum of 60 students for the whole semester. The salary is Rs. 43,300, which is both the highest and the lowest. Many students get internships in this course at Guwahati University, in various NGOs, research institutes, and government bodies.

In conclusion, RGU has good infrastructure and average placement support.

Placements: Now, for the less glowing part, it was the placements. While the university did have a placement cell and made efforts, I'd describe the placement opportunities for sociology graduates as pretty average. Most of my peers and I found that we had to do a significant amount of legwork ourselves to get internships or job opportunities after graduation.

No, students can not enter Royal Global University without entrance exams. The university accepts national entrance exams such as CAT,  XAT, GMAT,  MAT, CUET,  JEE Main, CLAT,  NATA, and others. While direct admissions might be offered for some programs, it's not the standard route for all courses.
