RV University Course Admission 2026: Fees, Eligibility, Dates & Selection Process

The university conducts RVSAT for providing admission to BDes course. The shortlisted candidates are further called for PI round. After completion of the selection rounds, the university releases a merit list to announce the names of the shortlisted candidates. Yes, RV University offers MSc programme in a full-time mode. The duration of the programme is two years. The following specialisations are offered by RV University under MSc course:

• Economics specialisation in Data Analytics

• Economics specialisation in Development Studies and Public Policy

For admission to BA LLB programme at RV University Bangalore, candidates must have completed Class 12th from a recognised board of education. The minimum required percentage in Class 12th is 45% in aggregate. Apart from this, the university also accepts few entrance exam scores for admission to BA LLB programme. The accepted entrance exams are RVSAT/ CLAT/ LSAT India. After qaulifying the exam, counselling is conducted then the candidates have to appear for personal interview at the university campus for final admission.

Master of Design (MDes) is a PG degree course of two-year duration offering specialisations on Communication Design and Interaction Design. There are major and minor subjects available in the RVU BSc/ BSc (H) courses. It is subject to minimum student count opting for a major and minor. The availble major subjects are Psychology, Politics and International Business, Environmental Science, and Philosophy. These subjects are BSc courses offered through the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences. 

The RV University CUET cutoff list for 2024 has not been specified in terms of date. Generally , all the  universities publish their cutoff lists right after the announcement of the CUET results. This year too , the CUET results are going to be declared in mid-2024 and accordingly, RV University ,  like all other participating institutions, will publish its cutoff based on student performance in the entrance test, availability of seats, and other factors.

The total fee for RV University BTech CSE is INR 36 lakh. The fee structure can be revised in any academic session. This fee amount is as per the official website/ sanctioning body. It still may vary and hence, is indicative.

RVSAT exam date is released by the RV University on the official website soon for the next academic year. The exam is conducted for admission to the UG, PG, and doctoral degree courses. Candidates can apply for the exam online as the application is also made available on the official website.

The cutoff CUET for RV University in 2024 is not yet out. However, based on the last year and trends of other entrance exams, KCET cut-offs for some popular courses like B.Tech in computer science engineering closes at ranks as low as 6163. General merit cutoff ranks for other courses during the previous years have ranged around 6911, to as high as 19,539. This means that the actual cutoff for CUET 2024 will depend upon the number of applicants, their scores, and the availability of seats.

Students have to submit educational certificates and other documents at the time of admission. These are required for eligibility purposes. Some of the documents required during RV University BTech admission are:

- Original Class 10 and Diploma certificate

- Transfer and migration certificate (original)

- Category certificate

- Student Aadhaar card and passport, etc. 

In the first semester, there are more foundational subjects. RV University BBA LLB (H) first semester subjects are legal methods, introduction sociology, business ethics, law of torts, business principles and management practices, and English-I.

In KCET the Computer Science, Information Science and Data Science has to maintain Score should be 5000 Rank for OBC and SC/ST should be 10000 to 15000 Rank . It depends on Cast Category. Mechanical Engineering should get 10000 to 20000 rank. Electronic Engineering should get 15000 to 20000 Rank. 

In Management student must be eligible of Passing Minimum 85% in 12th and They should apply online of offline Application and submit the required documents and get Admission by paying Fees.

RV University offers four-year BBA (H) course in different specialisations. The offered specialisations are Professional ACCA/ USCMA, Digital Marketing, Data Science and Analytics. Admission is based on RVSAT and the university selection process. 

Candidates must meet the BBA LLB (H) eligibility criteria for admission in RV University. The students who are Class 12 or equivalent exam pass from a recognised board can apply. There is an age limit of 20 years for the general category candidates. It is 22 years for SC/ ST/ OBC category candidates.
