Sharda University offers a full-time Master of Science (MSc) of two-year duration at the School of Basic Sciences and Research. The curriculum of the course is divided into four semesters. Sharda University offers entrance exam-based admission to MSc. Candidates seeking admission to Sharda University MSc need to meet the following criteria:
- Eligibility: BSc with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and a minimum of 55% aggregate in the final examination

The scholarship amount at Sharda University goes up to around INR 41 Cr with the University providing upto 100% fee waiver to its eligible students under their Scholarship programme. Students are eligible for fee waivers based on performance in the SUAT with students scoring 95 and above percentile receiving a 100% fee waiver.
The academic performance of the student is the sole criterion for continuation of scholarship at Sharda University. The scholarship starting from the highest slab is granted based on the position in the merit list. Students must score a minimum of 8.00 CGPA and 75% attendance, no FI/FR/or any other backlog to continue the scholarship.
