However, in terms of affordability, Fergusson College is more affordable since the tuition fee to pursue a BSc at Shivaji University is INR 2,900 to INR 47,400, and the tuition fee to pursue a BSc at Fergusson College is INR 26,340.

The allocation process for Shivaji University BSc seats differs based on the choice of specialisation. Allocation of a few BSc seats is done based on scores obtained in the entrance exam. Basic eligibility to secure admission for Integrated B.Sc + M.Sc in Nanoscience and Technology in Shivaji University is that candidate should have a minimum pass mark of 45% in class 12. Candidate must have passed 10+2 in Science stream. Final year appearing candidates can also apply on provisional basis.
