Absolutely satisfied with the college and course in MIET, Meerut.
Placements: Almost 20 percent of students are placed from the CSE branch across various MNCs and small companies. The highest package is 24 LPA and the lowest package is 3 LPA. Recruiting companies are Deloitte, Cognizant, TCS, Mahindra, etc. A few students get internships at various companies like Amazon, TCS, Tech Mahindra, etc. Roles offered are Software Developer, Data Analyst, Web Designer, Hardware Developer, etc.
Infrastructure: There are CCTV cameras in the classroom, libraries, and auditoriums, along with separate Wi-Fi throughout the campus. Hostel facilities are also satisfactory as they provide decent food, hygiene, and medical care. Along with this, sports facilities are also there for nourishing talent at the national and state level.
Faculty: Teachers are like mentors, and their behaviour is also kind, soft-spoken, and encouraging. They are also well qualified in their respective domains, as they complete their PhD's from IITs, MNIT, and several other well-recognised universities. The course is well relevant to academics and placement-oriented, which makes the students industry-ready and also for startups. Semester exams are of a moderate level and students can pass within 1 month of preparation for the exam. Passing percentage is also very good, as all of the students passed with flying colors.
Other: I chose this course because I want to become a software engineer. The best things about my course are gaining knowledge and keeping up with the latest technology in the market. I think it should focus more on the students' labs and projects of the respective subjects and fields rather than theory. Events are also organised annually and monthly with a big crowd and easy connectivity of transport due to the College buses and the private non-college public transport. Along with this, the surroundings are also good and easy to locate. Scholarships are also given to OBCs, SC/ST students, etc., annually by the university and college.

If you want to study in Meerut or are looking for the best college, it is MIET.
Placements: According to the information gathered from seniors, about 50% of students get placed. Out of these, 15-20 students are selected by Deloitte with a package of 7-8 LPA. Last year, our college had 100+ startups and various MNCs that came to hire students from our college. TCS, Wipro, and Deloitte are the major recruiters.
Infrastructure: The overall campus of the college is very good. It has 4 big grounds where students can play cricket, football, volleyball, etc. The campus also has 3-4 libraries in different blocks. There are various labs on the campus where students can learn and practice coding.
Faculty: The overall teachers are quite good. Some have great knowledge about their subjects. Teachers maintain a supportive approach to help students. All teachers tell us to come to their cabins whenever needed. They also guide students for a better future.
Other: The college organizes one big event named Kolahal , which continues for 3 days. On the 3rd day, different singers come and perform for 1-2 hours. In my first year, Jassie Gill and Babbal Rai came to the event, and in the 2nd year, Parmish Verma came.

MIET Meerut - A college you can consider.
Placements: About 60 - 70% of students get placed from our college. The highest salary package is 14 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Infosys, HCL, Deloitte, and Mahindra visit our college. 20% of students get internships, but most are unpaid. Top roles offered are software developer, AI engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is quite good. Classrooms are big and clean. Libraries are very good and big and have all the books. Quality of the mess food is average, but the food in the canteen is very good. Medical facilities are available 24 hours. Sports and games facilities are average.
Faculty: Teachers are very good and knowledgeable. They teach in a very good way. But they teach only theory, which doesn't prepare us for the industry and real-life problems. The course curriculum is not relevant to real-life problems. Exams are easy and easily scoreable. Passing percentage is 30%.
Other: This course provides me with various ways to achieve success. So I chose this course. For improvement, the course should be updated and provide us with more practical knowledge. Events are very good, infact we have the best events and fests in the entire Meerut. Kolhaal is my favourite fest.

I'm satisfied with MIET Meerut.
Placements: Placement in our college is average only 50-60 percent of students got placed in our course. The highest package offered is 12 LPA, and the lowest package offered is 3 LPA. Companies like Infosys, Wipro, Deloitte, etc., come for recruitment. 10 percent of students got internships. Top roles offered are in software development, data analytics, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. We have good facilities in our college. Wi-Fi is very good. Labs have updated systems. Classrooms are neat and clean. Libraries have all the books needed. Quality of mess food is average. The canteen serves good food. Medical facilities are available all the time. Sports and games facilities are average.
Faculty: Teachers are very sweet and helpful. They teach us like pros. They are very knowledgeable. Course curriculum is not relevant they only teach theory, and practical knowledge is not provided. Semester exams are average, you can score good marks with minimum consistency. Passing percentage is 50 percent.
Other: I wanted to become a software engineer, and MIET is near my house that's why I chose it. More practical knowledge should be provided by the teacher so that we can visualize real problems. Events and fests in our college are very good. Our Kolhaal is the best in the whole Meerut.

Miet should you choose it ?
Placements: Only 40-50% gets placed in our course.
Highest package offered is 15lpa and the lowest package is 3 lpa .
Companies like DELOITTE INFOSYS Hcl etc comes to our college for requirement.
Internship percentage is very only paid internship is provided by the and mostly of them are of no use .
Rule like Software engineer Ai engineer Data analytics.
Infrastructure: Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology’s campus blocks are good and our Institute is located in urban area. The Mars resort is best place outside the Institute for enjoying with friends. The classroom seating capacity is about 60-65 students. The library is very helpful to gather and enhance knowledge about something different form our Course. Labs are in good condition and well maintained. There are more than 10 seminar halls in our Institute with auditorium. Institute’s canteen as well as a franchise Dhosaka is very popular for South Indian food and also Snap Chaat Bhandar is in our Institute.
Faculty: The faculties are good and very much friendly and helpful. They are knowledgeable and most of them have qualified masters and some are Ph.D holders from IIT. There are around 6-7 faculties for each subject in our department. They try their best for solving the problem of students. Their teaching method is so good and most of the teachers teach us through blackboard and PPT’s.
They does not prepare us for industry ready.
There are so many exams in this course per semester. There are 2 sectional, 1 special test series and 1 PUT (Pre University Test).
Passing criteria in exam is 50%
Other: I always love the computers and the coding that's why I choose this course .
I think there should be more practical knowledge provided to the students as compared to the onle theory.
Events of our college is too good there is an event called Kolhaal it's a 3 days event and I love it so much.

It is a good college in this field with good placements, infrastructure, facilities and many things.
Placements: 40-50% of students were placed in B.Tech CSE. The highest package was 20 LPA, whereas the lowest package was around 4 LPA, and the average package in MIET was 6-7 LPA. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Mahindra, Wipro, etc., recruited students for roles such as Data Analyst, Software Engineer, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, Web Developer, and App Developer.
Infrastructure: There are 8-9 top facilities in the lab that include IOP, Salesforce, UiPath, Intelligence Learning, etc. There are 3 central libraries, and classrooms are of decent quality. The quality of food in the hostel was decent and satisfying. The canteen was also decent. Medical facilities and sports were also in good condition.
Faculty: Teachers and faculty members were well-qualified, knowledgeable, and motivating persons. A bit of the curriculum was relevant and irrelevant for industry purposes. Semester exams are of easy to moderate difficulty. The passing percentage was around 35-40%, which was easy to score.
Other: I opted for this course because I want to be a software engineer. I chose my course because it was well-informed, and my interest was also in this field from the start. The faculty members and platform were also quite good for nurturing personal skills and making one a skilled and disciplined person in life. I wish this course would focus more on practical things rather than being theoretical. Events, fests, and the campus environment are also very good and pleasing to the eye. Connectivity was also easy from all around the world due to its location. Scholarships were also awarded to almost every student.

I don't like my college due to its hectic schedule.
Placements: Around 50% of students are placed. The highest package is around 13 LPA, and the lowest package is around 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Deloitte, Infosys, and Wipro. The percentage of internships is very low; it is about 5-10%. Generally, a software engineer role is provided to the top students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. Systems in labs are of low generation, and most of them are not in good condition. Wi-Fi is good and has a good speed. Rooms in the hostel are not that good, and the food is just average. However, the canteen of the college is quite good, it serves good food and many other things. Medical facilities are of the name only. The game facilities are good.
Faculty: Faculty are average. Some have proper knowledge of their subject, but some of them are very bad in their subject and only teach slides. Only some of them are highly qualified and have proper knowledge of their subject. I don't think they make the students industry-ready. The course curriculum is very hectic, with exams and assignments. Semester exams are not that difficult. We can pass them by studying only before the exam. The passing criteria are about 50%.
Other: I want to pursue B.Tech from a nearby college, and it is the best college nearby, that's why I chose this college. They don't give enough time for students to focus on their skills.

I didn't like it because they are too strict on attendance and do not provide practical knowledge.
Placements: Around 60-70% of students have been placed in our course. The highest package was around 12 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA, while the average package is around 4.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Deloitte, Infosys, and Cognizant. The percentage of internships is quite low, around below 10%.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is quite good in our class as well as in the library, which offers good speed. There are 3-4 libraries that have almost all the good books related to our course. However, the computers in the labs are not up to the mark. They are of an old generation. Rooms in the hostel are quite small, and the mess food is just average, but the canteen provides good food for us. With average facilities for medicine and sports, we have a fest with all AKTU colleges, and we have won it many times.
Faculty: The knowledge of some teachers is very good, and they teach like pros, but some are just average and lack proper knowledge of their subject. The curriculum is not good as I feel they are preparing for theories, not practical. Hence, there is a lack of practical knowledge. Semester exams are average. You can pass by studying for one day, and the passing marks are 50%.
Other: The best thing about my course is its flexibility. CSE is not limited to just one field. You can explore areas like web development, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, data science, and more. This gives me the freedom to experiment and find what suits me best. Another good part is that most learning resources are available online, so even if college teaching is average, you can still build strong skills on your own. Fests are very enjoyable. I just love the fest of my college. We have a fest named Kolhaal that lasts for 3 days, and it's amazing.
