SNDT College offers courses in UG, PG, and PhD levels. Candidates willing to get admission in one of the courses must qualify for the below-mentioned eligibility criteria:

Q:   How do I get admission to SNDT College?
A: 

To get admission to SNDT College, candidates must first check the eligibility criteria of programme they want to pursue. As per the college's admission guidelines admission to most of the programme is based on the national-level entrance exam. Therefore, candidates must qualify for the course-wise entrance exam. Candidates can follow the below-mentioned admission process steps of SNDT College:

Step 1: New Horizon Application Process

The New Horizon application process is completely online. The application form is a key part of the admission process. Applications with incomplete or false information will not be entertained. Candidates can access the application form through the New Horizon College official website.

Step 2: New Horizon Shortlisting of students

Candidates' application forms are scrutinized for selection. For the UG programme, candidates' performance in the qualifying exam is considered and for the PG programme score of national or state-level entrance exams like KCET, GATE, PGCET, KMAT, etc., are accepted. Candidates are shortlisted based on the above-mentioned criteria.

Step 3: New Horizon admission confirmation

Once the candidates are selected, they must confirm the seats by paying the admission fees. Candidates are required to submit the application form along with the documents specified in the application form.

2023–2026 Batch has a very enjoyable experience.
Placements: More than 60% of students get placed. The highest package is 3.5 LPA. The lowest package is 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Quastech, Infohybrid, and Skigit Placement. The top roles offered include Data Analyst, Python Developer, and Software Tester. We get a lot of interview experience. I want to pursue a master's degree, so I do not apply for interviews.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are good. Labs are good. The library also provides online access, which is very useful. The food quality in the canteen is good. Sports and games facilities are also available. Students get opportunities to participate in sports. The college infrastructure is good. The environment is friendly.
Faculty: Teachers are very good. They are understanding and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant. We can opt for industry-based roles. The semester exams are good. Teachers help us score well. If we study well, we can score marks easily. Overall, everything is good and friendly.
Other: The extracurricular activities are very good. I also won prizes, including cash prizes and certificates. I chose this course because I am interested in the IT field.

Placements: Average 85 percent of students are placed from campus. The average package is 4 LPA. The highest package is 8.5 LPA. The lowest package is 1.9 LPA. Companies like Deloitte, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Amazon, and more come in for campus placements. Every student gets a confirmed internship in companies like Cloud Consuleage, Star Innovation, and more. Top roles offered are junior data analyst, consultant, trainee software developer, and IT recruiter.
Infrastructure: Dr. BMN College provides a variety of facilities for the students' comfort during their education, such as air-conditioned labs, advanced computers, printers, smart classrooms, touch smart boards, 24/7 available Wi-Fi, sensor lights attached on every floor to save electricity, 3 big lifts on the campus only for student use, common room, gym and turf, and a medical center on campus for students to access in times of emergencies.
Faculty: Teachers are very friendly and co-operative. Every teacher in the department is supportive towards academics and extracurricular activities for the students' all-round development. The curriculum set by the college is very simple yet resourceful for a Computer Science major student. Even students from a non-maths background can score full marks easily.
Other: Dr. BMN College's intercollegiate fest is Akanksha, with cultural competitions, and the Computer Applications Department's intercollegiate fest is Tekzone, a hackathon on day one and technical and cultural competitions on day two. The crowd and culture at Dr. BMN College are joyful and filled with enthusiasm.

Vanita Vishram is best for studies only, but not for academics and placements.
Placements: In our college, placements are only to a few students. Around 10 to 20 students get placements, while most students do not get any opportunities. This is disappointing because students join the college expecting good placement support after completing their studies. Many students work hard, improve their skills, and prepare for interviews, but very few companies visit the campus. As a result, most students have to find jobs on their own. The college should invite more companies and provide better training. So that every student gets a fair chance to get placed and build a successful career.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our college is one of its biggest strengths. The campus is clean, spacious, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable environment for learning. Classrooms are equipped with basic facilities. Laboratories have necessary equipment for practical work. Library has a good collection of books. It offers a quiet place for studying. College also has sports facilities, a canteen, and other essential amenities for students. Overall, infrastructure supports both academic and extracurricular activities. This makes college a pleasant place to study. It helps students enjoy their college experience.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are well-educated and knowledgeable. They are supportive. They explain concepts simply so that students can easily understand. This helps students learn better. They are always ready to solve doubts and guide students whenever needed. The exam pattern is also well-planned and fair. It focuses on both theoretical knowledge and practical understanding. It helps students to prepare well. Regular internal tests and assignments help students to improve their performance before the final exams. Qualified faculty and a well-organized examination system create a positive learning environment in our college. It helps students achieve better academic results.
Other: Campus life in our college is not as exciting or enjoyable as in many other colleges. There are limited cultural events, festivals, and extracurricular activities. So students do not get many opportunities to participate and showcase their talents. Student clubs and social activities are also fewer compared to other colleges. Because of this, the overall campus atmosphere feels less active and engaging. College should organize more events, workshops, sports competitions, and cultural programs to make campus life more enjoyable. A better campus environment would help students build friendships, improve their confidence, and create memorable college experiences.

Placements: Around 80% of students are placed in our college. The package varies from 2.5 LPA to 8 LPA. Companies that come for placements include TCS, Capgemini, Wipro, HSBC, and many more. In our college, 100% of students get internships in companies like PrepSun, Cloud Counselage, Star Innovation, and others. The roles offered by our college include Junior Analyst, IT Recruiter, Software Trainee, Software Analyst, and Operations Executive.
Infrastructure: In our college, we have air-conditioned labs, a Gandhian Studies Library, a seminar hall, smart boards, a medical room, and a common room. Wi-Fi is available, and sensor lights help save electricity. There are three lifts available for students. We have an amazing sports turf and various sports clubs, such as the Chess Club, Kabaddi Club, Cricket Club, and Basketball Club.
Faculty: All our teachers have completed their master's degrees, and some are pursuing their Ph.D. Some teachers are very understanding and friendly. The course is relevant and helps make students industry-ready. Exams are normal. We receive proper notes and question banks before exams, and the passing criteria are around 30-35%.

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty, good placement in 2023, really good infrastructure, etc.
Placements: 80% of students got placements in my course. The highest package was 5 LPA, and the lowest was 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies in the college were Infosys, Wipro, and Godrej, etc. Many deserving candidates get scholarships if they are deserving candidates. Hence, there is a growing opportunity.
Infrastructure: Good and well-equipped library. Wi-Fi and other technical support are given in feels. Feels is very affordable. Anyone can join this college without worrying about the fees; they also have a loan facility for paying fees for poor and deserving students. It's a great college for girls.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They help in students' overall development. They teach each and every concept that is important for the student's improvement in their academic as well as extracurricular activities. This is an excellent place to explore new things.
Other: I chose B.A. in Economics because I have had an interest in this particular subject from earlier. Hence, I took admission in this course. I also wanted to become a government employee.

It has the worst placements and average faculty.
Placements: A total of 76 students are available in my course. We don't get any companies, but we have been told that we can sit with IT and CS students for placement. The package offered ranges from 4 LPA to more than 10 LPA. Companies like TCS, Colgate-Palmolive, and Deloitte hire students. Only 20 students got internships from other courses. We have the same role as for IT and CS students and not special like software engineer, developer, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is there, but the network is slow. There are many labs, but PCs are old. Classrooms are big and well-ventilated with CCTV facilities. The library has good books. In the hostel, the food quality is worst. Medical facilities are okay. Sports and games are good.
Faculty: Teachers are well educated, but some of them do not know how to teach. The course curriculum is relevant, but we only learn theory, not practical knowledge. The course curriculum is similar to that of other departments like IT and CS. Semester exams are moderate. Students should score above 45 to pass exams. Staff members are good.
Other: I chose this course because I got it. The information we study is good. We learn good theory knowledge, but for practical ones, we don't have as much as AI students do. There is no practical thing, so we have to learn for our course. So we have to learn about practical knowledge from the start, rather than theory. It gives us more options about jobs and describes them. Fests and events held are good. The scholarship process is good.
