SAU grows on you slowly. Its inclusivity, culture, and warmth make it feel like home.
Placements: South Asian University introduces UG courses in 2024, like B.Tech and dual degree in B.Tech CSE and B.Tech Mathematics. In 2025, it will also introduce other UG programs such as BBA and BSMS. Since the UG courses are new, there is no placement record for UG programs. But the Master’s students are mainly in foreign countries now for higher education or research. The Training and Placement Cell works fine. They call excellent IT tech professionals for workshops, talks, and interaction for network building. Even foreign professors come.
Infrastructure: The campus has centralized ACs with well-furnished classes, and labs have been developed too, which are well-equipped. The hostel is actually not made yet. Students reside in residential flats, which are much better than any hostel. The hostels do not have ACs in any room. Mess is better compared to other colleges. Sports events are conducted on a large scale this year. Mother Dairy shop is there for us, and Kendriya Bhandar for snacks and daily-use items. A medical health centre is available 24/7.
Faculty: In B.Tech, especially, teachers are the top 2% of India’s educators, all IITians and IISER alumni. But again, you cannot completely depend on teachers. You should be prepared for times when you have quizzes, practicals, and semester exams lined up. The senior Master’s teachers are loved by the batches. They are great human beings before being teachers. The curriculum is quite hectic for the B.Tech 1st year.
Other: I am a B.Tech CSE student. You enjoy the curriculum if you really love what you are doing. A less academic syllabus could be better. Convergence takes place for freshers. Various state festivals are celebrated, such as Fagun. A sports fest called Khel Kumbh takes place, and a food fest also happens. Various religious festivals are also celebrated.

Good College, Unpredictable Future.
Placements: The first batch will pass out in 2028. There aren't any placement states yet, but we expect a decent enough placement as the placement cell is quite active. We even had training lectures from big personalities, including the director of BlackRock, and this year, students of MBA 1st year secured internships in various fields.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure stands to be the most amazing thing, though an HPCC is what's still missing. The new library is under construction and hopefully will be inaugurated by the end of the year. Classrooms have digital boards and ports for charging your devices. Mess facility is good.
Faculty: The course curriculum is one of the major things that pushed me to choose this college; over that, some of the faculty members are really great, but some are mediocre, though everyone is equally very supportive and helpful. The exams are quite easy, like you may easily score an A- just by studying one night before the exam if you are an average student.

Established after the 2000s but had good reach with people.
Placements: By observing, I had gotten to know about a lot of drawbacks from the side of placements. Even getting opportunities to work as an intern also requires a lot of fieldwork from students. Cryoviva Biotech, Micro Crispy Pvt Ltd, and other private techno labs are some average recruiters.
Infrastructure: The college is located in one of the hottest cities with heavy traffic, so reaching the college on time is not possible, even with a five-minute delay in getting ready. The college was established after the 2000s only, but it has reached people easily due to its history and achievements.
Faculty: The duration of a course is too short, but the experience in learning throughout the course is vast. Both the foundation and advanced level courses are given with the same method of teaching and with elite extra care and encouragement to the foundation-level students.

Hidden gem inside New Delhi.
Placements: The training and placement cell was established recently with the commencement of the B.Tech Course in SAU in 2024. Currently, we don't have placement statistics, but we are building cooperation between some MNCs like Amazon and Deloitte. Due to this, we have a bright future in placements, or that's what I believe.
Infrastructure: The hostel is very good, and the Wi-Fi speed is fantastic, often reaching 100 Mbps. Classrooms are equipped with centralized AC, and labs have high-performing PCs and appropriate instruments for each department. The library also has a variety of books with PCs fitted for further research on topics that have no books in the library.
Faculty: All the teachers are highly qualified; all of them are Ph.D. holders from IITs or famous foreign universities. The curriculum is up to date in all departments. Students are trained for their future in research or jobs. The exam levels are good, and students who study regularly will be able to get a good GPA.
Other: Since the campus is still being built, we have yet to experience the originally designed park, a small pond, and other scenic routes, but besides it, the current area is also really pretty. It's green, it's scenic.

Good infrastructure and lenient campus life indeed are a good motivator to pursue B.Tech.
Placements: As of now, we didn't have a formal placement cell up until last year, and no campus placements have happened as of now. For B.Tech, we are the 2nd batch, so no placement data as of now. The TNP cell is working hard and will probably provide good placements, as good opportunities are being shared constantly with us, and we are being given good mentorship as well. From historical data, the Masters and other course students have gotten good jobs on their own, and the faculty is very nice as well, so placements will probably be good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is probably one of the best in Delhi NCR. All the classes are well-equipped with nice classrooms, air conditioning, and smart boards. One point is being deducted for the campus not being fully complete and hostels not being fully ready. The hostels we have are already excellent, with nice big rooms and good facilities like geysers, balconies in all rooms, and they are very affordable as well. The campus is the most beautiful in Delhi NCR, in some aspects rivaling that of IIT. We also have lots of freedom on the campus and in the hostel, with next to zero restrictions.
Faculty: Teachers are well-trained and excellent, probably one of the best faculties for B.Tech. The best part is that they hire mostly young teachers who have that spark and teach nicely. This really provides an edge to us. Also, the curriculum is excellent, as they have set up a modern curriculum with modern subjects like DSA, web development, and all. In the first year, we have Physics and EEE, but they are there and have good teachers, and EEE as a subject helps in providing an edge only to us. The exams can be a bit difficult.

I'm satisfied, it's good & has potential, but it's new in courses, which can raise some doubts.
Placements: Since it's the first batch, there is no placement yet, which is a major problem in deciding. However, the professor does have a network with different professors, and the placement and training cell is actively working so that the first batch's placement will be better than expected and turn the university path in a good way.
Infrastructure: While the hostels are actually pretty good in terms of appearance, there is a Wi-Fi issue a lot of the time, but Wi-Fi is good in classes. Facilities like computers in labs are pretty high in specs, and there is a shortage of hostels. Otherwise, the facilities are good. Mess food is better than other colleges, like it's above average for sure.
Faculty: Teachers are cheerful and always ready to help, including the Dean of the course. The course structure is pretty similar to IISERS, and it's made by taking the postgraduate exams into consideration. Semester exams are above average in a few subjects, but mostly are doable and easy.
Other: The university is different from others, as it's more peaceful. While there isn't any major activity or famous festival at the university, it itself is pretty good.
