Candidates need to pass a five-year integrated BA/ BBA/ BSc/ LLB or three-year bachelor's degree or 3 or 4 year LLB with at least 50% aggregate to apply for the SAU Delhi LLM programme. Besides, candidates also need to pass the entrance exam conducted by the university or have a valid CUET-PG score for LLM admission.

SAU Delhi conducts an entrance exam for admission to LLM course. The entrance test is conducted for a two-hour duration and consists of 70 multiple-choice questions. Besides General Knowledge, Political Science, Geography, General Science and Civics of the Class 12 level, the entrance test also covers questions of LLB level. Aspirants with a valid score in CUET-PG can also get admission in the LLM programme.

South Asian University is not a Tier 1 or Tier 2 university in the same way that Indian engineering and general education institutions are; instead, it is a unique, intergovernmental international university for SAARC countries that provides specialised postgraduate and doctoral programs. SAU is established and funded by the eight SAARC member countries, making it an international institution for students from these nations rather than a solely Indian college. 

South Asian University offers BTech for four-years in full-time mode at the UG level. The programme is divided into eight semesters. Candidates who have completed Class 12 with the specified aggregate can apply for any of the below-mentioned BTech specialisations:

• CSE with specialisation in AI & ML
• CSE with specialisation in Data Science & AI
• CSE with specialisation in Cyber Security
• CSE with specialisation in Business Systems & Intelligence
• Mathematics & Computing

South Asian University considers JEE Main scores for admission to BTech programme. However, it is not compulsory. Aspirants can also get admission based on their SAU Entrance Test scores. It is a test conducted by the university for admission to BTech and other UG, PG and PhD programmes. Those who are selected have to confirm their seat by paying the programme fee.

Aspirants need to pass a minimum of Class 12 to apply for UG courses. The aggregate required to apply for UG programmes is 50%-65%. Hence, aspirants with 65% in Class 12 can get admission provided they also meet the selection requirements. Aspirants should have also scored well in any of the accepted national-level entrance exam or SAU Entrance Test for admission.

South Asian University Delhi considers the merit of the candidates in the last qulifying exam and their entrance-exam scores for admission. The basic eligibility is Class 12 for UG courses and graduation for PG programmes. Below is course-wise eligibility for SAU Delhi:

South Asian University admissions are currently open for 2025 session. Candidates meeting eligibility requirements can fill out the application form on the university's website. Aspirants need to register for the entrance exam by paying INR 830 as the application fee. The university offers admission via SAU Entrance Test or directly based on national-level entrance exam scores of the candidates.
