Scholarship 1

Sri Guru Granth Sahib Scholarship Scheme:

Sri Guru Granth Sahib university granted scholarship to needy and meritorious students who cannot afford to pursue higher education. In order to which 10% scholarship provided to needy and meritorious students in all courses, against additional 10 % supernumerary seats i.e. the seats over and above the sanctioned intake. These additional 10% seats are further classified in two categories as below, for granting the scholarships:

i) Scholarships equival

Scholarship 2

(ii) Scholarships equivalent to 5% seats in each class of respective course will be offered to the needy & meritorious Gursikh and non-Gursikh students with following details:

1. Scholarship amount equivalent to the total Tuition Fee will be offered for 2.5% of the seats under this category.

2. Scholarship amount equivalent to 25% to 50% of Tuition Fee will be offered for remaining 2.5% of the seats under this category.

Scholarship 3

The general criteria will be followed for the award of these scholarships:

1. The scholarship will be awarded for one academic session, which can be renewed every year.

2. The students must have obtained at least 60% marks in the qualifying examination, to become eligible for the scholarship.

3. The continuation of the scholarship, once awarded at the time of admission, during subsequent years of study will depend on the consistent good academic performance of the student in the sense that he/she clears all his/her semester exams at the University in the first attempt, with the minimum of 6.0 CGPA.

4. The total family income of the students from all sources should not exceed Rs. 2.5 Lac per annum.

5. A committee of University officials/department heads will be constituted to scrutinize the claims of candidates for the award of scholarships. The committee will be authorized to determine the merit and need-based requirement of the students, after holding the interview. The decision of the Vice-Chancellor on the recommendations of the committee will be final.

6. If at any stage, it is found that a student has obtained a scholarship by misrepresentation/ concealment of facts, he/she will have to deposit fee for all the semesters.

Teachers don't teach. No datesheet provided on time. Only projects files were given to complete.

Placements: I think I do not know anyone who got a good package at this university. I took admission here because one of my friends told me that this university is so good and a good placement was got by a lot of people, but that all was false. He also said that we can get placement in Microsoft also.

Infrastructure: Our university environment is good. It features a big ground with a lot of greenery and trees everywhere. University's size is quite large, and it even has a temple inside. Computer labs are available, and canteens are also present, where many students gather with their partners.

Faculty: Faculty members are not helpful because they do not teach, but I know are well-qualified. They don't teach because they have a good amount of salary packages. A lot of students leave the college after 4-5 months, and the pass percentage may be 60-70%.

Other: Many other events, such as farewells, are also held here.

This is the best university in the state of Punjab.

Placements: This university was the best place for upgrading skills practically as well as theoretically. Most students scored a CGPA above 8. The maximum salary package was approximately 8–10 LPA. Most of students attended internships in different as well as best companies.

Infrastructure: Many facilities were there, such as delicious food with a great seating area, Wi-Fi, electricity, a library with a quiet environment, medical facilities with professional staff, clean surroundings, clean restrooms, sports facilities, and a screen time area also available.

Faculty: Absolutely, the teaching staff were really helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The way of teaching was very good and easy to understand. All staff followed a proper timetable for lectures and provided knowledge both theoretically and practically. Because of the good faculty members, I was able to easily crack my exams.

Other: This university had limited seats, and because of this, they gave opportunities to students who were eligible for their respective fields. I chose this course because of my interest, and it helped me enhance my skills in chemistry. The best part of this course was that it was practical and closely related to real life, as everything is invented through chemicals by scientists. Many science events and quizzes were organized by the university. The university staff also organized many events related to work, skills, and festivals such as poster making, rangoli, science fest, quiz competitions, etc.

Review of Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University.

Placements: About 40-50% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered is 20 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies like HDFC Bank, DCB Bank, ICICI Bank HCL, TCS, etc., visit our campus for placements. Top roles, like marketing, sales executive, manager and assistant manager, are offered to the students. About 40% of the students got a chance for internships in private banks as a marketing executive.

Infrastructure: The campus is very pleasant. You will be totally safe here, and it gives you a positive vibe to study harder. Facilities like Wi-Fi, labs and classrooms are good. Students get a lot of new opportunities every day to develop their skills through extracurricular activities.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are very kind and helpful. They help needy students with books. In this present era, MBA is considered as the most prestigious degree, and by this degree, you can get a job in one field or another.

Other: I have chosen this course because I want to start my own business venture. I wish the college should add more placement opportunities for students. The college provides a lot of opportunities for everyone to participate in events and fests. Scholarships are available for the students.

A college where you can do anything what you want with no restriction.

Placements: In my course we have 45 students in the class all the students are very good in coding except some students who does not take class seriously. The average salary is 25000 for month and it will increase as you doing your work well. The recruiting companies are Plasma, hdfc bank and other software development companies. In my university some people are given job by the plasma and other IT companies.

Infrastructure: The university campus is very good and all the teachers are very friendly they always take care of their poor students. Wi-Fi is almost free for every student. Students can check what they want to see in the internet either they have no internet connection. The hostel is very neat and clean.

Faculty: All the faculty members are very helpful. They always help in any subject which you are not very well. All faculty members are interact with any time if any student want their help. Some faculty members are not very good they are always not happy if someone come their for without any interest.

Other: I choose this course because I want to know how the software work behind the screen what the algorithm is using to maintain it.

The college is average in all the aspects.

Placements: No placements as were conducted by the university, because we are the first outgoing batch. So there was no placement cell. This university is more towards religious activities not towards study. There is lack of exposure for the students but before taking admission go and check out the place by yourself.

Infrastructure: The college provides well-furnished infrastructure. They have invested so much of money towards infrastructure about 400cr. The studies of the college are inadequate. The hostel is excellent like 5-star hotels; you must visit the hostel.

Faculty: The faculty members are not well-experienced, the faculty is very bad. They are good for nothing; even they are freshers. Some of them are graduated from the same university, and they had some links within the university and started teaching.
