Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education admission is both merit and entrance-based. The university conducts an entrance exam for admission to some of the UG and PG courses such as BSc, MSc, etc. Admission to some of the courses is based on merit of the aspirants in the last qualifying exam. Aspirants who are selected need to participate in counselling process to get a seat in the university.

Selection criteria: NEET UG + MCI Counselling
Eligibility: Candidates must have passed HSC examination /equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% aggregate (40% aggregate for SC/ ST/ OBC) taking together Physics, Chemistry and Biology (or Botany & Zoology) and a pass in English. Aspirants have also secured not less than 50% marks (40% marks for SC/ ST/ OBC) in the entrance exam to apply for MBBS course.
Apart from other SRIHER BTECH Scholarships 2025, students can get the Founder-Chancellor Cash Award if they score the highest marks in first year university exams. This award is open for all streams including BTech and gives students extra push to study well and score top marks. To claim, students must keep results and certificates ready as proof.
