Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research conducts its own entrance exam for admission to UG, PG and MBA programmes. The test is conducted for three hours and includes a total of 180 multiple-choice questions. Besides, the deemed-to-be university also accepts NEET-UG, NEET-MDS and other national-level entrance exams for admission to specific courses.
Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research grants admission to various courses including MD and MS via NEET PG scores. NEET PG cutoff 2024 for admission to the college was released for different categories under the All India quota. The cutoff was released for the third round. In the round 3, the closing ranks were closed between 5613 and 64406, among the General All India category candidates. Selection criteria: NEET UG + MCI Counselling
Eligibility: Candidates must have passed HSC examination /equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% aggregate (40% aggregate for SC/ ST/ OBC) taking together Physics, Chemistry and Biology (or Botany & Zoology) and a pass in English. Aspirants have also secured not less than 50% marks (40% marks for SC/ ST/ OBC) in the entrance exam to apply for MBBS course.

Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education admission is both merit and entrance-based. The university conducts an entrance exam for admission to some of the UG and PG courses such as BSc, MSc, etc. Admission to some of the courses is based on merit of the aspirants in the last qualifying exam. Aspirants who are selected need to participate in counselling process to get a seat in the university.
