Students must have passed Class 12 from a recognised by State or Central Education Board. They must have taken five subjects in Class 12 with an aggregate score of 50%. The university has not specified the subjects required in Class 12/ equivalent examination. So Maths is not compulsory to take admission to the BCom (Hons) course of SRM University.

For BSc programme admission candidates must have Class 12 with 45% aggregate and 40% aggregate for SC/ST students. Students must have studied equivalent subjects to the course specialisations. No, SRM Sonepat doesn't considers 12th marks for BTech admisson. SRM University Sonepat Admission to its BTech programme is strictly based on the entrance exams. SRMJEE is a national-level engineering entrance exam for admission to BTech courses offered at SRMIST campuses. SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE) will be held in 2 phases and in remorse online proctored mode. Also the University accepts National level exam JEE Mains for admission to its BTech Programme. So candidates are required to have a valid scores of the above mentioned exams. Admission without JEE is not possible as per the University's admission guidelines.
