SVVU Courses & Fees 2025
Admission can be done by applying for courses at the institute. The institute offers B.E. / B.Tech, UG Diploma and M.E./M.Tech. There is a wide range of specialisations offered for these courses. There are two ways to secure admission at SVVU Tirupati for BVSc course. Those who fulfil the preset eligibility criteria in terms of educational qualification and age can get admission at the university in one of the following two ways:
- 85% of the total seats are filled under state quota through the combined counselling conducted by ANGRAU based on the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET merit. Within the state quota, there is a Farmers' quota wherein 25% of area-wise seats are reserved for candidates from farmers' families with 3 acres of agricultural land. Such candidates must have studied in a rural area for a minimum period of four years
- 15% of the total seats are filled by the Veterinary Council of India, New Delhi through a common entrance examination
The SVVU Tirupati After 10th Diploma fee depends on the choice of specialisations. The tuition fee for the Diploma in Fisheries is INR 63,000 for the entire course duration. As of now, the fee details for Diploma in Animal Husbandry are not available. It must be noted that the mentioned fee is sourced from the official website of the university/sanctioning body. It is still subject to change and hence, is indicative.
As per the available information, there is no provision for direct admission to the BVSc course of SVVU Tirupati. The university accepts the EAMCET scores for admission against 85% of the total BVSc scores. The remaining seats are filled by the Veterinary Council of India, New Delhi through a common entrance examination. Further, candidates are required to fulfil the course-specific eligibility criteria to secure a seat. Hence, direct admission is not possible at SVVU Tirupati for a BVSc.

The latest cutoff of 2023 for Sri Venkateshwara Veterinary University for B.Tech. is based on the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET scores of the students. Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University offers various Undergraduate (UG) programs with a basic criteria of 50 percent in 10+2 . It provides courses such as B.Sc, B.V.Sc and B.Tech and various Postgraduate (PG) programs also such as M.Tech, MS, M.Sc and M.V.Sc. It offers various Ph.D programs in different branches of Veterinary, Dairy and Fishery Sciences and selection in all the bachelors’ courses are done on the basis of an entrance examination of Andhra Pradesh called EAMCET.

BTech admission under the state quota is based on the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET merit, followed by subsequent counselling. Admission against the All-India quota seats is governed by the ICAR norms. The placements of Sri Venkateshwara Veterinary University for their students in a recent placement drive was - 25 students from B.Tech in Dairy Technology were placed with an average package of INR 2.40 LPA. Apart from this, the placement cell is also active for students to ensure good placement for Diploma students as well. According to the students of the University, the highest salary package was INR 9 LPA in their placement while the lowest salary package was INR 4 LPA.
SVVU Tirupati BVSc admission dates vary yearly. They depend on the exam schedule of the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET, the accepted entrance exam for BVSc admission. Aspirants can apply for the exam around March every year. The exam is usually held in May. No, it is generally not possible to get a seat in Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University (SVVU) without appearing for and qualifying in the relevant entrance exam, which is the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET for undergraduate programs. SVVU strictly adheres to entrance exam-based admissions for its courses
