On Fees and Eligibility
Q:   Can I get into Swami Rama Himalayan University with 70% in class 12th?
A:

Although your grade of 70% in class 12 is impressive, depending on the programme you're interested in, it may be difficult to get into Swami Rama Himalayan University (SRHU) just on the basis of that grade. For different programmes, SRHU takes into account the results of several national admission tests. For example, JEE Main scores are required for admission to Engineering programmes, whilst CAT scores are considered for admission to Management programmes. Irrespective of your percentage in your 12th year, getting a good score on these tests is essential to get admission to SRHU.Entrance to SRHU is not assured by merely earning a 70% in your final exam.

Remember that entrance to prestigious colleges is frequently competitive, such as SRHU. Though a strong 12th grade percentage is a solid starting point, you can improve your chances of admission by concentrating on entrance examinations, learning about programme criteria, and emphasising your overall skills.

Q:   Is B.Pharma fee at SRHU same for all semesters?

No, the fees for all eight semesters of SRHU's BPharma programme is not the same. During the sixth semester, students have to pay an Industry visit fee of INR 10,000. I am satisfied with the faculty, decent placements, and good infrastructure.
Placements: About 40% of students got placements. The highest package ranges from 5-6 LPA, and the average package is 3 LPA. The lowest package is below 3 LPA. Companies like TCS, Infosys, etc., hire students. Approximately 40-50% of students got internships. The top roles offered are finance analysts, management trainees, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is decent. It has facilities like Wi-Fi, a library, and communication labs. I am not a hostel student, so I don't have knowledge about the facilities provided for the hostel students. Annual sports days are organised for various colleges so students can participate in extracurricular activities.
Faculty: Faculty and staff members are very helpful and qualified. They have good knowledge of their subjects. Their teaching quality is also appropriate. The course curriculum is relevant, and it gives us theoretical knowledge about how things are done, which we will apply practically later in companies. Semester exams are moderate. 60-70% is the pass percentage here.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in understanding how business works and want to build my career in management and finance in the future. Things I wish would be improved are that they should also give us practical exposure, which would be very helpful for us in the future. Events and fests are not so good, or nothing great happens in college.

Satisfied with the facilities and value for money.
Placements: Top recruiting companies are Grant Thornton, Infosys, Sunfox Technologies, and companies visit for the purpose of internships as well as jobs. Students are provided with placement assistance through the placement department in their respective chosen fields.
Infrastructure: There are various facilities available for the students such as hostel, mess, a good cafeteria, grocery store, communication lab, stationery shop, medical facilities through the hospital, and HEIC cell that supports the entrepreneurial ideas of the students.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and support the students in every aspect. As the crowd is not very high, teachers focus on individual students. Course curriculum is relevant, and makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams difficulty level is between medium to high.

Overall average, not bad.
Placements: Placements in the engineering college are moderate. Students who put in personal effort usually get placed. This year, highest salary package offered is around 5 LPA, as far as I know. Opportunities exist, but mostly for the self-driven. Overall, it's average.
Infrastructure: If we talk specifically about the engineering college, the infrastructure is more moderate in scale. Classrooms are well-maintained and equipped with essential facilities such as benches, whiteboards, fans, and projectors, which are suitable for regular academic use. Library is small in size considering the number of students enrolled. Computer lab facilities are one of the better aspects of the infrastructure. There is one large lab that can accommodate around 60 students and five smaller labs, each with a capacity of 30.
Faculty: Faculty is good enough and generally supportive. Most teachers are approachable and helpful in clearing doubts. Exams are usually not very difficult and mostly depend on the teacher. With regular study, it's manageable. There aren't many extracurricular activities happening. College lacks regular cultural or technical events beyond the annual function.

Good placement support, helpful faculty members but limited events.
Placements: At SRHU, 60-80% of HSMS students got jobs. The highest package is 25 LPA to 36 LPA, the lowest is around 4 LPA, and average is 4 LPA to 6 LPA. Recruiters include TCS, Deloitte, Mahindra, and Grant Thornton. 50-70% of students secured internships via the university. Top role offered is assistant manager.
Infrastructure: Our department has smart classrooms, high-speed Wi-Fi, a well-stocked library, and computer labs. Hostels are clean with 24X7 electricity, Wi-Fi, and laundry. Mess food is decent and hygienic. Campus has good sports facilities and on-site medical care.
Faculty: Faculty members are qualified, supportive, and approachable. The teaching quality is good with a focus on practical learning. Curriculum is industry-relevant and updated regularly. Semester exams are moderately difficult with a high pass rate of around 90-95%.
Other: I got to know about SRHU through a family friend. I chose BBA as I am interested in management and marketing. Faculty members and placements are good, but the curriculum can be updated. Fests are limited, but the campus is peaceful with helpful staff and decent extracurricular.

Overall, our college is good.
Placements: In my batch, there are only 35 students. There are no placements for BMLT students. There is a six-month internship at our college. It is good for the medical field. BBA is good for placements. It offers bioscience courses. It is the best for MBBS and nursing due to the hospital.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available. Classrooms infrastructure is very good and projectors are available in each class. Pathology, biochemistry, and microbiology labs are the best. It has a separate building for labs. The hostel food is good. 4-5 canteens are available. A lot of sports are also played.
Faculty: Faculty members are friendly and too helpful. They are very knowledgeable. They explain everything perfectly. B.Sc. in Medical Technology is actually not for industrial areas. Our course is yearly. Attendance should be 75% or else we will be detained. Exams are average.
Other: I chose this course because I want to be in the medical field and further in the industrial area. I would like to do an M.Sc micro for further studies. Fests happen from time to time for entertainment. The campus crowd is average due to the hospital.

Our college is very good and famous because of the education we receive here.
Placements: Sixty percent of students were placed in our course, with a monthly salary of approximately thirty thousand. I don't know the highest packages or the top recruiting companies for our course, but over 70 percent of students got internships. I also don't know the top roles offered in our course.

We have all the necessary amenities in our college, including a good playground and sports facilities, which is totally worth it.

Yes, the course curriculum is relevant and prepares students for the industry. Semester exams in our college are not too hard, and the passing percentage is 50 percent.
