Symbiosis International University (SIU) conducts the Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) for admission to the BA LLB course every year. To apply for SLS entranecexam, candidates must have cleared Class 12th exam from a recognised board of education with a minimum of 45% aggregate in case of General category candidate.

For candidates belonging to SC or ST category, the minimum required percentage is 40%. Also, the candidates whose Class 12th results are awaited can register for the entrance test. Provided, they will have to submit their passing certificate at the time of admission to the university.

If candidates are applying for BA in Visual Arts or Media & Communication at Symbiosis International, Pune, they can get direct admissions after completing Class 12 board exams.

However, candidates who choose to apply for other BA courses cannot get direct admission into those courses without appearing in SET.

Symbiosis International University, SIU requires entrance tests for its MBA programmes. A few programmes and categories allow admission without taking an entrance exam through alternative routes such as merit-based selection, lateral entry, or direct admission schemes. The required entrance exam is SNAP.

The SET application process 2025 started on December 6, 2024. The last date to register for SET exam 2025 was April 16, 2025. The SET exam was conducted on May 5, 2025, and May 11, 2025.
