SIU Pune BTech Eligibility & Highlights 2026
Symbiosis International Pune BTech course is a four-year course offered in full-time mode. BTech at SIU is offered via its affiliated institute SIT (Symbiosis Institute of Technology Pune). The BTech programme is offered across seven specialisations, including Computer Science Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics and Automation, Artificial Intelligence, etc. Besides, the institute also offers lateral entry to some of the BTech specialisations.
The SIU Pune BTech admissions are decided on entrance basis. SIU accepts JEE Main/ Any State Engineering Entrance Exam for BTech admission. However, the institute conducts SIT Engineering Entrance Exam (SITEEE) for BTech admission. Before applying for admission candidate must make sure to qualify for the BTech eligibility criteria.

The application process for SIU BTech programme is completely online. Candidates must apply for the programme via the SIU-affiliated institute that offers BTech progarmme. Candidates can follow the below steps for further application process:

- Select preferred course and register.
- Fill the application form.
- Submit the application form along with a passport-size photograph.
- Pay the SIU Pune BTech application fee.

For the SIU BTech admission, candidates must apply for the JEE Main exam. They must complete the JEE Main application form to appear for the exam. Non-JEE Main candidates can always opt for the SIT Engineering Entrance Exam (SITEEE) exam. Candidates who are interested in appearing for the SITEEE exam are required to visit the university's official website to fill out the SITEEE application form. Candidates who have successfully qualified for any one of the above-mentioned exams are eligible to proceed with the Institute's application process.
3. Seat Confirmation
Once selection is done, candidates can confirm their candidature by paying the SIU Pune BTech admission fees.

No, the SITEEE application process is an online process wherein forms is made available online only. You cannot send a printout of the duly filled-out form. Such forms will not be accepted. Therefore, candidates who want to pursue engineering at Symbiosis International (Deemed University) have to fill out the application form online. It is to be noted that prior to filling out the SITEEE application form, candidates must check the eligibility criteria and also read the instructions carefully. The application form for SITEEE will be available on set.test.org. The SIT Engineering entrance exam is conducted in two phases. SITEEE 2025 applications are open for BTech admission and the last date to apply is Apr 12, 2025.
A candidate has to pay for the SET scores, which will be considered for shortlisting candidates for the further admission process (PI-WAT / ST-PI) by individual Institutes only for the programmes. If a candidate is desirous to submit his candidature to select UG programmes, then it is necessary to complete the payment process for the desired programme before the closing date of payment for the same. Payment towards the programmes should be made via the website only, which is set-test.org. After making the payment for the SITEEE, proceed to complete the online registration form for the programme (s) and the respective institute (s). Also, it is required of a candidate to make a separate, non-refundable, and non-transferable payment of INR 1000 per programme per institute at this stage. If a candidate wants to pay via DD for each programme, they have to pay in the name of "Symbiosis Test Secretariat".
Even after closing the payment for SITEEE, a candidate may still pay through the website until the last date of payment for the programmes (s). An institute may offer more than one programme. Here, a candidate has to ensure that the preferred programme (s) is/are selected and paid before the last date.

Yes, Symbiosis International Pune offers admission to BTech (Lateral Entry) programme. BTech in Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, are lateral entry programme offered at SIU Pune. The programme is offered with a course duration of three years. The final merit list of selected candidates will be based on the scores obtained in the diploma. Aspirants need to pass Diploma Course/ Diploma in vocational course or Diploma in Vocational stream in the same or allied sector as per AICTE norms or a BSc degree with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for SC/ ST) to apply for BTech (LE).
NTA has released JEE Main Session 2 Admit Card 2024. JEE Main Admit Card 2024 download link has been activated on the website jeemain.nta.ac.in. To download the admit card, candidates need to login on the website using their application number and date of birth/password. After login, candidates will be able to download their admit cards to appear in the exam.
Symbiosis International Pune doesn't offers direct admission to its BTech programme. Candidate have to qualify for the entrance exams to be eligible for the progarmme. JEE Main and SITEEE are the exams required for admission. However, candidates have to qualify for the BTech eligibility criteria before applying.

The SIU PUNE SLAT Cutoff 2025 will soon be available for students to view on this page. The cutoffs are expected to be around 44- 48. The last date to apply for the SLAT exam is 30 Nov, 2025. Students who have already applied for the exam, should have started their preparation long ago as the exam
